Has anyone had any issues with MQ2Melee being loaded and once auto attack starts after the ShadowKnight pet engages mq2melee shuts off and than you have to once again start it? Never noticed it before, however once my pet is dismissed boom MQ2Melee does what it normally does and tanks and continues to fight the mob. Very weird behavior. Using MQ2Melee 7.0.4.0 the one in the most recent very vanilla compile.
 
notice this often with my SK who i am manually playing as soon as pet attacks he stops...however my other sk running KA is fine. both have the exact6 same mq2melee file and KA file.
 
It a known issue with petassist in MQ2Melee. Kiss turns off all those features and macros pets so you never encounter it.
The dev that revamped the pet code recently is currently trying to track down the issue.

I think I remember you mentioning this another post Maskoi, however so I know I am not crazy, you can enable KissAssist but still be in control of your player by turning off MeleeOn and DPSOn correct? I like having buffs and spells to kick off "automagically" while still having some control over the char.

Thanks for the answer, I figured it was a bug in MQ2Melee since I never had the issue when running KA.

Oh one more question, if I turn off petassist in MQ2Melee pet can stay active however it will only engage when I send it in correct? Do you know if I manually send him in if he breaks melee then? Thanks again!
