Release MQ2Farmtest

Another request... I'd like a config setting to stop the characters from assisting each other. I'm trying to use farmtest to go after different mobs in the same zone, but they run off to help each other, which f's me. Thanks!

Just keep them ungrouped? They won't assist if a mob isn't on their extended target window.
...unless you're trying to do a hunter raid, then yeah kinda stuck.

Trying to do hunter group... the grouped toons assist whatever is on the extended target window, no matter what they're assigned to kill through the /farm farmmob xxxx command. So, in zones where there are multiple types of mobs to kill for credit, you're stuck with a less efficient mode of killing because the plugin defaults to that assisting.

Redbot updated MQ2Farmtest with a new update entry:

updates for next

2021-09-16 - Chatwiththisname
- Added consideration for MQ2Headshot which would cause it not to pull due to the (LastNameHere) under spawn names.
- Changed the way the plugin checks for a spell to cast.
- Updated how we determine what our current PercentHealth/Mana/Endurance is.

2021-09-15 - Knightly
- Conversion to Next

Feature request: I’d love to see a way to turn off auto assisting or a way to add a distance check to the auto assist so that if the mobs are greater than a certain distance the plug-in ignores them.

Using mq2twist completely break this. Character will not move. Does it think I'm casting cause my character is trying to sing?

Hmmm any work around? Hoping to farm with songs on as bard
Nah, you just have to go without songs. mq2farmtest really doesn't play nicely with anything. You could run KA to help with some combat stuff, but the moment you start wanting to buff yourself it'll go into this weird interrupting loop.
if I run farmtest it's all base runspeed / base melee kinda stuff, especially on a bard. You can hit your Selo's AA every so often, but that's about it.

Would you consider adding an option or flag to toggle sitting while waiting for mobs? It is the only issue I'm having with the plugin, as (like someone else mentioned) I am trying to use it on my bard but it keeps stopping my 'tunes'.
Thanks for the great resource. I use it regularly on my other toons.

yeah i can take a look

Can you add multiple mobs to the /farm farmmob command using some syntax or is it just singular? For instance, if I wanted to kill both caimans and crocodiles, but nothing else in the area.

Is there any way to add multiple arguments to the farmmob option? Like Kromzek OR frozen dracoliche

similarly to the cwtn plugins you can use alert to specify - check the cwtn class plugin sticky (in my signature)

We basically use a spawn search to determine what you're pulling. You can get pretty creative with what it is you want.
Like, if you want to pull just spiders, you can set the farmmob to "race spider" and various other things.
Sic mentioned the use of alerts. Alert lists are used as part of the default spawn search. By default the plugin uses alert 1 and it ignores anything in alert 2.
So you could do something like
/alert add 1 "race spider"
/alert add 1 "race wolf"
/alert add 1 "specific NPC name"

Spawn Searching

Alerts

I forgot this plugin requires everyone in the group to be in the zone. Ugh.

Any alternatives for slaughtering a specific type of mob in one zone?
