are these new or from 1/16. If they are for today, then you need to change the date from 1/16 in the ini file. Good job though.

No, the version date on the eqgame.exe says Jan 16 2008 14:00:16. That means they had the fix compiled 1/16 at 2:00 PST

I always put the date from inside the exe, that way if they repatch same day, its likely they break. If you notice from yesterday's file I had 1/15, well the second exe of the day was dated 1/16 as is todays, so they wont work at all....

I guess I'm just thinking that it would be hard to test a MQ2DoCrack.ini to make sure it was working correctly without actually having at least a working "plain-vanilla" compile running. I suppose the new addresses could be located, put into a file and that file then distributed without testing them, however.

You're well ahead of me. The last time I was messaing around with memory addresses in executable files was in software written for an Atari 800XL. That would have been during the 1980's, in case you weren't aware.

Hey, the stuff you post is usually pretty reliable in my experience which is why I guessed you tended to test it or at least portions of it before you posted it. In any case I have no complaints.

you don't need mq2 to do memory hacks btw, there are tons of programs out there that work like docrack.

except that you need to be able to bypass the checks that eq does on the memory locations otherwise chaning it = crash.
