The automation will always be better. How much better depends on several things. Like what rank is your mercenary? Take your lowest rank first mercenary you get even at level 115 to gunthak and pull everything. Once a certain number of mobs get close even though they can't kill you, that lowest merc will run away and hide. As you do the merc upgrade quests they get considerably braver and cast higher rank buffs and spells but pretty much any MQ cleric plugin or not is going to out heal them and react faster. MQ2Cleric is one of the things I won't live without when playing with a cleric. Though I mothballed my cleric for a shaman at level 101.How much better is a MQ2 cleric w/ 2.0 level 85 vs Cleric Merc? Just trying to figure out if it’s worth it to have a live cleric.
Divine rez has a longer cooldown, and some folks might need/want to save it for later - for raids or manual play or whatnot, so the option is there so you don't "waste" it on the bard who just ran off into trafficGreetings folks. I had a small question about the cleric pluggin. My cleric has her epic 1.5 and her archetype and class AA's mostly filled i think there are a few with just one point left including all the new Laurians song stuff.
Is there any reason NOT to check and use 'Divine Rez'?
If I check it will it use it first but also use regular rez if its on cool down?
Thanks for such great work.
no, we don't and won't use DADoes anyone know how to enable Divine Aura/Bestow Divine Aura? Cleric has died a few times do to add aggro when a quick DA + cancel would have saved him.
I can answer the first part, all the CWTN class plugins will break invis if a camp is set, or they are in chase mode (with melee enabled for casters.. only CHASE does the melee matter). So my shaman, clerics, mages, druids will all start buffing once a "camp" is set.Hey,
Thought I would ask a couple of questions here. One is specific to MQ2Cleric the other has recently happened on all my CWTN programs.
First, on the cleric. My cleric has always broken invisibility once I have arrived and set a new camp. So I have just sort of learned to take this into account when arriving and setting a camp. None of the other CWTN programs will do anything until I remove the invis or attack something. I am guessing there has to be a way to set this but have not been able to find any command to make this happen. What am I missing?
The second, which has suddenly started on all CWTN programs seem to be a conflict somewhere between MQ2TargetInfo, My UI (SimpleStice) and CWTN. The problem was triggered when I forgot to restart the Chat plugins after stopping them to run Overseer. When I logged on and reloaded the Chat plugin the dialog window would not appear. I dont remember the error code but I was required to switch to the default UI and then back to SimpleStice. That fixed the dialog window problem but I noticed that at that time the information in the group window that shows the distance of each group member had disappeared. I still see the distance of group members on the one toon that is running KissAssist and the one toon that is running RG Mercs but in the 4 CWTN toons the info is gone. My guess is due to the fact that SimpleStice has not been updated for a while (the author was in an accident and has at least stopped temporarily doing up dates), that could be the reason for the problem. However, since I have a very complicated setup, I am using IsBoxer and video windows so I can see and use other group members hotkeys, changing my UI would be very labor intensive. So I guess I am wanting to confirm that the problem is an out of date UI and not something else that might be easier to fix. Also, if it is my UI that is the problem, could you recommend a very minimal UI that is popular enough to stay updated so if I have to reset everything it would be a semi permanent fix?
Last, I just wanted to thank you for the CWTN plugins and the only reason I dont run Chat on all my toons is there isnt a plugin for them yet. I just love the simplicity of use and smoothness of the whole operation. Keep up the good work.

the cwtn plugins don't really care about your UI other than things that MQ would care about to get information from.
mq2groupinfo is the plugin for the group distances, that has 0 to do with the cwtn class plugins ( i use mq2groupinfo on the ui kaen and i keep up - in my sig)Sic,
Thanks for the response. I understand the responses to why the cleric breaks invis and it totally makes sense. Luckily I have gotten used to this and work it into my game play so it is not really a problem. Question was triggered by why Cleric broke invis and the other Chat plugins didnt so I thought there might be a setting I was missing. Guess it turns out the cleric just needs to do more stuff more often so I am seeing that behavior on that toon.
However, I wanted to follow up on the second problem where the group distance wasnt showing up in the group window on the Chat plugins anymore. I would really like to squash this bug and my logic was that since that window was only not working on the toons running CWTN plugins that the conflict must involve the CWTN plugin somehow. My logic being that it still works fine on the KissAssist toon and the RG Merc toon and since I know the UI to be a bit dated the UI must be conflicting with the CWTN plugins somehow. Since the CWTN plugins wouldn't be causing this do you have any suggestions on where I might look next? I find the distances to be very handy as I use my warrior and my driver and the other toons follow. While I am moving I can watch the distances of the other toon in the warrior window to see if they got hung up on something. Since the Warrior is running CWTN those numbers have disappeared and I am no longer noticing when toons hang or fall off something until much later than I would like and the fix is a bit harder than when I noticed right away. Anyway, thanks for answering and if you have any other ideas on what I could look at to see if I could resolve everything let me know.

you're welcome AJSic,
Thanks, part of my problem was that I thought that the distance information for my group was coming from MQ2TargetInfo so I was totally barking up the wrong tree. I will look at the ini files for Mq2GroupInfo and see if I can figure out what may be causing the problem. Thanks for giving me a new direction.

do what now?Great plugin, really enjoying using it. I noticed that my cleric is not using the AA Yaulp for Yaulp 12/13. It will use Yaulp 12/13 if I mem the spell, but the AA can be used without taking up a spell gem. These are the only levels where I have been playing, so not sure about other level ranges. This is not a big deal, but I like to avoid using spell gems on things that don't need them.
do what now?
for yaulp 12/13, as in rank 12/13? which would be the AA rank 4 and 5?
we certainly don't want you using a spell where an AA exists
there's no difference in what we do for any of the ranks of yaulp, we check it to see if you have the spell it gives etc
obviously not mounted or sitting we don't do it
and either you're 95 mana or lower, or you're melee attack is on - we do it.
we do require that your spell in your book matches the spell your AA casts, otherwise you can't cast it.
do you have the appropriate rank of yaulp in your book that matches your AA?
i didn't say you need the spell memorized to use the aa. I asked you to make sure you had the spell that matched the AA rank, otherwise we're not going to try and use it - you said you did. thanks
yep - we know how yaulp works.
we know it doesn't need to be on the spell bar.
yes. Also, should have mentioned before, I checked the output, it says Casting ~~> Yaulp XIII, whereas the other AA abilities say Using AA:
you're in a camp mode in pok?Speaking of Yaulp, is it intended that my cleric will stand up to cast Yaulp and then immediately sit back down thus canceling any time my group is resting or even just sitting in PoK? This is some of the most bot like behavior I've experienced with MQ.
thanksIt’s the casted version from the spell bar. I’m level 70 so I don’t have the AA available yet. I use manual mode and chase mode almost exclusively and yaulp is cast in safe zones and while sitting in both modes. If the MA sits, my cleric will sit but will stand up every 18 seconds to cast Yaulp and then immediately cancel it by sitting back down. If I’m in PoK or something and I don’t have an MA assigned or anything else that would cause my cleric to sit, it will cast once and then do nothing because the buff timer doesn’t expire.
Please check the second post in the cwtn UI post stickied.I am trying to get my UI window to stay where I put it. I position it then close it out but randomly when I log back in it will be reset. I was on a different server so couldn't use the CWTN plugins. I know the interface for them was changed so I am guessing it is because of this change something is different.
I never saw that even though I was looking for the new one. I did watch it and never saw where it covers moving the UI around. I had no problem with the XML version. Please check the second post in the cwtn UI post stickied.

That is what I get for not reading your first post correctly. I just went to the video and not the posts under it. I guess I need to figure out how to put delays in when loading eq through the auto login. Is that even possible?
MacroQuest overlay position/information is stored in the MacroQuest_Overlay.ini in your config folder. This is something that MacroQuest does automatically for all of the overlay placement/positions (this is all things imgui - like the new cwtn ui window, or any of the other overlays that you find now like boxhud, buttonmaster, portalsetter window, or guildclicky, etc.)
what appears to be happening for some folks, is an issue creating entries for all of your toons when they all enter the game at the same time. when that happens - for some folks - there ends up being a "file locking" issue, where the file is busy being written to by something else, so it can't be written to by the other toons coming in.
Using ISBoxer to launch, which launches toons 1 by 1 appears to help avoid this because each toon entering the game is staggered.
if you have an old hard drive or do file scanning (like AV), or file syncing, this can exacerbate this issue - but unfortunately not something that we can do about that either. :'(
Another thing that has been happening to folks who use ISBoxer with window tiling - is when you swap which tile has focused, it does something where the other tile gets resized which causes imgui to mess with the position of the window you just had as if you moved it - unfortunately this is ISBoxer doing that, and not something that MQ can do anything about.
Would check you don't have something else in your keyring stat slot.I cant get my cleric to use mount item, I have removed it from downtime and re added it using the new interface and is listed in downtime...
yep correct. we will not try and cast something that doesnt match your stat mount - because the stat block makes your buff cast a spell it doesn't say.If i set my stat mount to the same mount it works, if i change the stat to different mount it no longer works.
Sounds like a buff conflict to me. Check red error message on the cleric's eq window and see why it's being resisted and then block the one you dont want.Looked for a answer before posting, but couldn't find anything what would cause the cleric to spam cast unified hand of certitude even though group is buffed, spam casts till they go oom.
=Whole group uses your plugins, also it seems its just the tank its trying to spam cast it on least there name is in the Plugin output spam.
- thanks
Did you try removing or deactivating the mount from the clicky tab? Might stop the behavior until you can find the root cause by clicking it manually.Cleric summoning mount, then dismounting over and over doing nothing else. Autodismount is off, Yaulp is off. No red error message. Please advise
Ya I did, remove it from the Addclicky and that stopped it, thanks. However still think its unintended. It is a statmount, nothings blocked, no red text.Did you try removing or deactivating the mount from the clicky tab? Might stop the behavior until you can find the root cause by clicking it manually.
Without which mount I don't really have much to go on.Ya I did, remove it from the Addclicky and that stopped it, thanks. However still think its unintended. It is a statmount, nothings blocked, no red text.
