it sure does use AA abilities. in fact, it uses quite a lot of AA abilities.

you would need to say more than just "it doesn't seem to use aa abilities" ya know like what specifically you're thinking it should and it isn't

every AA that is not passive i have hotkeys for, none are ever imprinted. I do not have a box team its my main... i have 4 hotkeys with AA abilities hot keyed
also the window that is in your videos with the options never showed up.... i just typed /plugin mq2cleric and it checked buffs. casted auras and healed.

you have to reload your ui, which the plugin will tell you in your mq output.

please make sure to review > Getting Started With the CWTN Info < it has a demonstration and explainaiton of the ui window

you need to /reload or /loadskin default to reload your ui, and then /clr show

Avery do a /clr show and it should pop up the window, if not /reloadui should refresh and allow for the /clr show to work for the settings windows.

please do not post your character's name.

Focused Cele - we cast this on our group MA (on cwtnbuffs) during burn
divine guardian - we cast this on our MA (on cwtnbuffs) if they don't have something that is already blocking it
cele regen - we use this during burn if you have usecelestialregen on
exquisite - during burn
ward of purity - if usecures is on, we use during burn conditions

yaulp - if you have useyaulp on, and if your mana is less than 95 or your attack is on and the buff stacks with you.

edited to add the rest of your hotkeys:

blessing of res - we use this to rez
divine res - we use this if usedivinerez is on

perfected ivu - we do not use this
gate - we do not use this
summon tribute - we don't use this
steadfast servant - we don't use this
summon banker - we don't use this
permutation ped - we don't use this
lesson - we don't use this

divine avatar - if your target is named and either you are in battlemode with usemelee, or you have usenuke on, we will use this
channeling the divine - same as above
celestial hammer - same as above
turn undead - we use to nuke an undead if usenukes are on

divine arb - we use this as an "uh oh" heal against your group assigned MA's health

mass buff - we don't use this

@Averystrange9 also, you 100% will want to turn off mq2heals.


but yeah, we use all those abilties


your picture is in your guild lobby - we don't just smash every aa ability in the guild lobby.
 
what if group people are not using mq2? I do not think my name was posted in pic I covered it up anyways ui I see options now.. I do not believe I even have cwtnbuffs ? plugin or macro? i am looking at this and it seems mode was set to manual/ i think i will go read some more, or watch the videos

yes, your name and server is all over your image. I wouldn't have said it was if it wasn't :(

you do have mq2cwtnbuffs, we load it with the plugin. if you're loading the plugin for the first time you will want to ensure you load it on all your other toons as well. once it is set to load, it will be loaded next time you come in and not require further intervention.

we do not directly buff non-local characters, or anyone not on mq2cwtn buffs. (outside of alliance).

might be worth checking out that getting started link, there is a ton of information and a good chuck is articulated in those places which will answer a lot of these questions

you're welcome, you enjoy the holidays as well.

manual mode has nothing to do with aa or spell or ability usage, it just means you don't assist to attack or move
 
Running 4 clerics, 1 shm, 1 enc on CWTN and would love to be able to turn off pet buffs. they are all lvl 70s with full spell books but still cast individual buffs on the pets overriding their group buffs they just cast, i guess they dont recognize that the group buffs hit pets

you should check out the MQ2Cleric FAQ located >>> HERE <<<

any buff you don't want anyone (or pet) to have you can add to their blocked buffs (or blocked pet buffs).

block the single version of the spells on the pets?!! love it, so simple
 
I absolutely love this when we are stationary camped!
My only issue that I either need help with, or does not work right is the 'Chase' mode. It does not seem to chase the group MT or MA if they are running around like KISS did with /chase on.

Q. Shaman is chain casting something?
A. There are a few lower lvl / mid level buffs that eq/mq reports stack that do not, or will chain overwrite other buffs and you get into a buffing contest with another toon. You either have this situation, or some other issues. I would suggest checking for the red error text that eq gives you to tell you WHY it didn't successfully take hold and then go from there. You can block anything you don't want cast. This is a built in everquest feature - right click on the buff and "add this spell to list of blocked spells" or go through the eq menu -> character -> blocked buffs

EQ Menu -> Character -> Blocked Buffs
EQ Menu -> Character -> Blocked Pet Buffs (to add to anyone's pet blocked spells)

This is particularly a problem with the focus line, especially if you have a large level gap between the shm and your bst/clr (particularly if your shm is lower than the bst/cleric) - you can run into issues where mq2 says that it will stack, but then your armor of line will not actually allow it. Or the Wulthan Focusing portion of Talisman of the Wulthan doesn't stack with the cleric Armor of ___ line, so you need to block "Wulthan Focusing Rk. III" on your cleric, if you do the Rk. III it will block all ranks from you.

Sic, This was happening if I removed all buffs from the cleric. It would just chain cast over and over till OOM. Killing all instances of mq NExt and patching fixed.
 
reupped the app....works fine for Live...shows up in plugin list...but not showing up for Next.... and its installed in correct folder....just get could not be loaded . any thoughts?

all licenses sync indie of each other. so it is possible 3 sync'd already and 1 didn't - if you didn't see it on your launcher this is likely why

I checked your licenses. this was the only renewal that just took place. the others are valid.

so since you just renewed the license, gotta wait until the mq2 license -> syncs -> next

i received a Plugin Load failed on all 6 accounts when logging into the game. i have reloaded everything possible. Updated everything. Ensured that I updated EQ itself. This happened when i logged into the game after updating to ToL expansion. The Plugin Load Failed message is the same for all 6 accounts. As far as I know I am current with respect to updates for EQ and Red Guides. Please help and advise. I am not computer saavy. Thank you.

Need to upgrade to Next, CWTN plugins are no longer being updated for MQ2.

There are sticky posts in the CWTN plugin area (where this will be getting moved to shortly I am sure)

this means you are willy nilly copying files around.

don't do that.

use the launcher.

the error message you are receiving is because you are either trying to use out of date plugins, or are trying to use files that don't match the type - like using mq next files in mq2 or mq2 files in next.

is it possible that your mq2cleric licenses expired and thus have an out of date mq2cleric.dll in your plugins folder? if so you will want to a: delete the mq2cleric.dll, b: update your license, or c: edit your macroquest.ini to mq2cleric=0


but as mentioned, you will still want to upgrade to macroquest "Next" >>> here is a guide <<<
 
I'm sure it's me! My cleric is only loading older spells, she is 120 and I have done /clr reload. She wouldn't reload her spell bar when I clicked them all off until I did /mac kissassist and only loaded part of them. She wouldn't recast Hand when I clicked that off of her and another group member. What am I doing wrong?
Yes I have restarted my computer, Yes I am running next.

kissassist has nothing to do with our spell gems.

emphatically you should not be using kissassist on top of the plugin.


make sure you are not byos and not invisible and you will memorize your appropriate spells


and yes, you do have to be on next
