well its either because mq2 is saying you don't have it and you need it (and saying it stacks) or you have someone else chain overwriting your spell with something else.

so you will have to determine if you're getting a red "could not take effect" msg in your eq output, and then determine if this is something you should then add to your blocked buffs or not.

if you are using something like druid buffs and want symbol instead of the aego line, you can /clr usesymbol on and it won't use your aego

The reason I mentioned MA vs MT. We use a merc for tanking, they cannot be set as MA, EQ wont allow it. So, we are concerned the cleric wont heal the tank properly. Just would be nice to allow switching if they support MA vs MT.

The main goal for my wife and I is to have a full group and if I go afk, she has the bots as well as myself, and if she goes afk/bed I can turn her into an easy cleric etc. Time is short for us and eq time with kids, so we hate building a group to afk on them 10 times or have to leave early.

I understand and appreciate your thoughts. At least for the time being, we don't have any plans on changing the ma/mt part. we didn't make them with the intent to handle mercenaries and we just kept in line with "how things are" for better or worse - its definitely something we've looked at and thought about - your life will be *immeasurably* easier with a #RealDealTank same as i recommend a real cleric over a cleric merc.

Maybe a crazy idea...try doing xtarget and xtended target heals on and add the merc there. I’ve usually done that with cleric outside the teams and it keeps everyone healed (even the merc tanks and pets alive) as long as you add them to that list. Note: back in the day i paid to name the pet...so the name never changes. You can also save your xtar lists...just make sure you leave the cirst slot open for autohater.

cwtn plugins don't care about what slot you use for xtarget - we only care that you don't have your group assist target or group tanks target target as xtarget slot

it still heals mercenaries - you just can't flag it as "MA" so it won't get the "MA" treatment

This previous issue was PC-related.

I would double check you are not invis (unless you have a camp set), you have usextargetbuffing turned on and your xtarget window isn't bugged - eq/mq2 still has an issue where if you do a /echo ${Me.XTarget} sometimes it thinks you have mobs on there when you don't. This would prevent you from doing buffing. this can happen if you load xtargets without them being in the zone i've seen. you will need to do a /reloadui or /loadskin default to reload your ui and see if that fixes you if you are having the xtarget window issue

mode doesn't matter (outside of only breaking invis if you have a camp set)

are you sure the other characters are running mq2cwtnbuffs?

You guys are aware how costly is to maintain accts; while popping a Krono on clerics i always near the top of the list to get the AA’s autogrants, the plugin is relying on them too much to balance group health.

In the spirit of out-of-box/simplicity it’d be nice if the plugin could detect AA grants and adjust the spell lineup if the aa‘s are not available for group heals maybe via a toggle like ya’ll did for enchanter aoe. Food for thought.

It doesn't rely on anything over something else. It uses the thing It has available to It when it is set to use them

I have a 110 Heroic SK in full snowbound and full tov drop gear (Max AA), paired up with a cleric using the same Snowbound/TOV drop gear gear, all spells available to ftp and the team keeps dying killing in camps in FM. That however doesn't happen with a T1 (not T5) cleric merc.

Running SK, 2X Berserker (CWTN), Bard, Enchanter (CTWN), Cleric (CWTN)...once it gets north of 5-6 mobs on tank the cleric script begins to struggle keeping up. It gets even worse if its just a FTP (Not heroic)...I don't disagree with your point that aa's / gear make a difference, but it's underperforming compared to a lowly merc.

Don't take my word for it...test it and you'll see.

Its not like the plugin says "if i don't have xyz don't do anything".

sounds like you should consider autogranting your cleric so you have the appropriate tool for the job you're trying to do. a 0 aa f2p toon is not the right tool

sounds like you should consider autogranting your cleric so you have the appropriate tool for the job you're trying to do. a 0 aa f2p toon is not the right tool

Howdy Cuz, Sorry to hear you're having issues.

mq2cleric and all the cwtn plugins do not use kissassist at all. running kissassist over mq2cleric can and will cause you issues and it is not something that you should do.

if you are having issues chasing your tank and moving around - it is likely you didn't notice the message saying you were missing meshes?

have you installed and setup mq2nav with all the meshes?

Hello Sic, yes I installed mq2nav and all the meshes and it is working fine however, I tried to make a three box group on Rizlona and kissassist will not seem to work. A plug and play program that does it all could be worth a $500, ransom.

Depending on what you click on will determine how the cleric heals; I tried it with splash off and on. This is like a J5 merc on roids and heals way quicker than a merc. It will fire heals on a named pull whether needed at the moment or not, which often mitigates big punches and you can click your epic balance in the middle of a heal (often at beginning of a fight if necessary) Cleric must have the old aa's from auto grant to do this (paid account). 2 things.. 1) Don't whip out your 2 hander and tank a TOV named.. Keep it practical; you wouldn't do this with 2 mercs :-) 2) Stay mindful of the cleric's mana before pulling, on a named the cleric will dump 75 - 90 percent of his mana.

This alone will wipe a group :-) Yes we can turn it off but if this accidentally gets turned on your customers may question why you put this in (haha)
