MQ2Cleric

Plugin - MQ2Cleric 3.1.52471.11

I personally use mode 3 so I have all the assist and healing function and he isn't tethered to a spot or following me to his deaths lol

You can use assist mode to set a camp. There are benefits to doing it for me. Such as if a mob has a knockback, the cleric will reposition themselves at the camp location after combat.
Optionally you can use manual mode and it should do all the things it does in assist mode with the exception of combat. However, this mode won't do any movement.
The last one I use is ChaseAssist for running around. Cleric will stay close to the MA and heal as needed.

If you turn on cleric's battle mode they will use contravention instead of intervention line.
and you can /clr domelee on/off depending on if you want to engage in melee combat or not.

and finally you can /clr pause on/off to stop all actions from the plugin so that you can manually do things without concern for the plugin interrupting you.

ALl my cleric seems to want to do is cast HoTs. Instead of casting 1 HoT then using regular heals, all he does is cast the hot over and over so I'm only getting 1 tic out of it. Is there a way to set him to actually use his other heals?

Perhaps it is just me, but I have been using this plugin for a few days now, and it seems the Values have been resetting every time I boot up the character and get ready to rock and roll. For example, the quick heal MA is set to 99 and stuff, cleric just rips through mana before I catch it. I had to take a picture of the values I am setting in the settings which just gets kind of tedious. Not sure if this is by design or not.

Furthermore, I do not see a setting for Aura's - he seems to not want to cast his aura, he's level 67 at the moment btw.

Thanks again!

I'm not sure if the values in the window save. Edit them in the ini file "mq2cleric_clericname.ini" which is in your Release folder. Then "/plugin mq2cleric unload" and "/plugin mq2cleric load". It should read the values from the ini every time you start then.

fantastic! i'll give that a whirl tonight. Any idea about the Aura? had that issue at all?

No idea about that one, I don't believe there's a setting for the aura. My cleric uses his aura fine.

I believe all the CWTN plugins when loaded will load the settings from the INI file. Then when you make changes in in game UI window they will only be active until you relaunch the plugin.

Yes lower lvl heal heals arent working atm

yeah I'm just about to hit 55.

Ok thanks for the quick response, I'm just playing my cleric manually for the higher level stuff. About what level do the heals start becoming efficient?

it will only sit and med in a mode that sets a camp, like assist mode. --- vorpal does not set a camp or sit down, nor chase (unless your tank/ma is sitting).

This is intended if you want to sit just normally you would want to use a mode that utilizes a camp, vorpal, manual, and chase do not use a camp

So to follow up with this, unfortunately not all of those options (settings) values appear in the ini file to edit. there are still a few you have to redo once in the app. But, I'd rather change only a couple values over the whole mess of them every login for sure. Thanks again.

It's not recommended to alter the INI directly. A mistake could cause you to crash.

If you want changes to be permanent make the change with the chat commands. You can get a list of chat commands by doing /clr help Then using that list you can make adjustments that are permanent.

@Quellis What aura are you expecting it to cast?

Code:
// - Aura
"Aura of Divinity", "Circle of Divinity"

// - Melee Guard Aura
"Aura of the Reverent", "Aura of the Pious", "Aura of the Zealot"

There's of course a possibility that the aura in question was overlooked. Here's the list we're currently using.

Apologies if this is a silly question - but it doesn't hurt to ask. Did you buy and scribe Aura of the Zealot? That is the only aura you can use at your level. It's a level 55 Aura. I am just making sure since you said you are level 67 so that means you're not a heroic toon with auto-granted spells (which even still are not all given). Just making sure.

Was doing some quests in Crystal Caverns today while in manual mode, my cleric would aggro the quest giver. Anyone else have this issue?

are you using curate's retort and your MA was targetting the quest giver? cause that'll do it

Nah it has to do with how I'm loading the two separate Auras

Aura of Div and Circle of Div are 100 and 80 respectively, where aura of rev, pious, and zealot are 100, 70, and 55 respectively --- I only check for the meleeaura if you have the AA to be able to use 2 auras - which is at lvl 85

fix't

I was trying to run Aura of the Zealot, for the record.

**edit** Thanks @Sic

I feel after dozens of deaths and near deaths doing the CC partisan quest, the easiest thing to do is nuke MQ2 in any situation interacting with a quest giver. I've unclicked retort and perhaps due to zones and what not, maybe it checks itself again. Just can't seem to get through a quest interaction with mq2eskay or mq2cleric running. Not saying its the programs... just don't have the mental capacity to remember to check the damned thing. And it usually happens immediately after I make myself visible while having giver targeted.

well if curate is turned off you won't do curate again, but since you mentioned SK, if you receive a heal while you have concordant disruption on your sk you will dmg their target and aoe threat - pretty dumb mechanic imo, but that is likely your issue

you can always just pause everyone while you're doing stuff.

Code:
/noparse /bcga //docommand /${Me.ClassShortName} pause on

Also - i'll be adding a toggle in eskay for UseDisruption for reasons like this

Thank you! I realize this is a work in progress. Before MQ2 I struggled to play a 3 box well and I was stagnating in the 110-112 range, barely able to take on a lot of the newer content. Now, I six box and have, as of this morning, 6 level 115 after 2 weeks. I've bought Mq2Monk, Mq2Zerk, some other thing for 10 bucks... lol.... You all are the shit. thank you. I've watched your videos over and over to refine my set up.

ok not sure I missed this anywhere...but all of sudden of late cleric is spamming hand of assurance, and unlike kiss files not sure where to go or how to fix this or edit it. Please help, its quite annoying and renders him useless if using this instead of kiss.

any way to get cleric to buff? I have been unloading the plugin, manually buffing, and then reloading the plugin.

like all the cwtn plugins that use buffs - currently you will need to load mq2kissbuffs on any toon that needs buffs (which means they need to be local to your PC and/or connected to that kissbuffs file
if you use eqbc /bcaa //plugin mq2kissbuffs load

as noted in other places, there is an issue with the way we detect buffs. you should have mq2kissbuffs loaded on everyone, and then on the toon that is being spammed you just need to manually click off a buff, and the cleric should stop spamming that character. for hand specifically you can also /clr usehand off
Hopefully we have some short term fixes in the next patch and then some long term fixes coming up in the future.

the issue happens because the kissbuffs file can get desync'd when you zone with your team and multiple toons try and write to the file at the same time - since it goes by ID and not server_name - all of your buffs and blocked buffs, and pet buffs are trying to be re-written when you zone, and since multiple toons do that at the same time, it runs into a desync issue.

You can still turn all buffs off in MQ2cleric.

Let kiss handle buffs and MQ2cleric heals.

Thats what I do atm.

@metsman4u It should only occur after zoning. If the cleric is spamming a specific buff on a specific play, go to the player and click off that buff so that they update their buffs file. After it lands next it shouldn't continue to spam the buff.

@krause that's not really a recommended method of handling that because KA and MQ2Cleric aren't communicating with each other what they are doing. Unlike the melee classes using manual mode isn't really the same for a caster class, especially one that buffs or heals because it switches targets when it needs to, it will try to cast when it wants to, and kiss might be inclined to do the same thing which can cause conflicting behavior. If anyone plans to use it with KA please don't send me any error reports for this plugin while doing so because of the previously mentioned potential issue.

While the plugin is in testing I'd need information based on solely the plugin running to reduce the chances of outside influence causing unexpected behavior.

I was looking at my cleric servername_toonname file and noticed I have MQ2Heals=1. Not sure where or how this happened, but I wanted to ask if I need it for MQ2Cleric?
