MQ2BerZerker

Plugin - MQ2BerZerker (3 Viewers) 3.1.52471.11

having a issue not sure its related to this or not but you guys might be able to help me. runnign 3 accounts SK-kiss, enc-kiss, zerk with your plug in. occasionally the zerk gets rooted in place, can trun, cast spells. can see the pat set for follow. but just wont move for 30ish seconds. i dont recall that being an effect from a spell. hoping you guys can help. also nt showing any errors that i can see. still fairly new to this stuff.

Be advised that turning off frenzied resolve is a large dps loss - but as Dborgar mentioned - it is frenzied resolve that roots you in place.

Zerkers have a few things like BLINDING you and ROOTING you and making your hps cap out lower than 100% which are, i guess, trade offs for doing big dmg

I don't use Frenzied very often (I actually don't think I even have the disc lol), but I need to get it. It's not useful when I'm moving around a lot, but for static groups it sounds great.

Just make sure your combat abilities window is visable and click it off if you need to move.

Still wrapping my head around Parse this would be the equivalent ?
Code:
/bcg //if (${Parse[0,${Me.ActiveDisc.Name.Find[Frenzied Resolve Discipline]}]}) /stopdisc

Would this even work ? suspect you are missing a noparse at the start
e.g
Code:
/noparse /bcg //if (${Me.ActiveDisc.Name.Find[Frenzied Resolve Discipline]}) /stopdisc

Yeah my bad, i sucked at copy paste. That's why i linked Sic's post, cause i figured out how to use the link command at least :)

I'm in the process of doing a fresh install and i hope that will fix the errors I'm encountering, but in case it doesn't, or simply so I can fix it without a fresh copy:

What would cause both rog and zerk to pace when their window isn't the focus?

Both are on my secondary machine, and when set to assist mode, after a fight, they will path back and forth like pacing. If I bring that window to the front, they return to home and sit, but otherwise they pace between where they were sitting (home), and a few feet away (maybe fight loc not sure.) It doesn't always happen, but it appears to be more frequent.

I did have mq2eqwire running, but I guess it got unloaded with a patch, and I hadn't noticed so I haven't redownloaded it.

v1.7 seems stuck in manual mode - eg if I target a mob and turn on autoattack myself it will engage in combat and start casting. If I have it in assist mode it just sits there doing nothing, and if I have it in chase mode it won't chase/move at all or engage in combat.

That too could be an issue, but presumably it would tell him that and it would identify it as an issue. I don't actually have anything in the code to prevent assist/chase modes when there is no MA assigned which is why I asked that first.

Yes, main assist was assigned to tank (KA did it I believe). The zone did have a mesh file too. I see MQ has done another update again so perhaps it's a mismatch issue as I did not have the latest MQ this morning.

It's working for me today, so not sure if it was MQ being on the last version or just something that cleared up by the power cycle Windows did overnight to update.

Well I wanted to also mention something based on your response yesterday. If you are running Kissassist you shoud not leave manual mode. Assist/Chase modes are designed to be completely self sustained, any interference from an external source such as a macro will interfere with operation of the plugin.

Before doing battle leap zerker needs to check if bestial alignment (beastord) is active in song window, they don't stack and zerker keeps doing battle leap which is funny in its own way :D

isn't it doing battle leap to get into combat anyway? like a real zerker might if blinded or rooted (that and the call to blood thing)

Sorry, to clarify - KA is normally running on my tank, and it sets main assist automatically on the tank when run on the tank. On my berzerker there are no macros running, just the plugin. I think I was running IHC on my tank that morning though - perhaps I didn't have main assist set then since I'm not sure if IHC does it automatically when run on a warrior like KA does. Could you see if main assist is null/not set and maybe give an error message when somebody does /zerk mode 1 or /zerk mode 2? I know I'll always check to make sure assist is set in the future if I see similar behavior but a message in window would definitely have helped (assuming that was the problem I had that day)

Normally only the first mob you do a battle leap on then its perma song buff till you zone / die. Catch is beastial alignment overwrites your battle leap buff but not the reverse.

I understand for the buff - but i meant a common way to start a fight in case of being blinded or root

using mqzerker out of grp? there a way to get my zerker to just assist on mobs? don't have a 2nd grp oog. yet.

Use mq2zerk on manual mode
Then run kissassist setup to assist a tank out of group

It'll run fine that way.

^ I do this all the time when PLing new toons.

/mac kissassist assist Tankname 70

Then /mac end, go in and edit the new kiss ini, and set UseMQ2Melee=0. Otherwise KA will spaz because it's trying to load mq2melee which zerk unloads.

You set the assist at 70 or lower because a zerker can out dps an entire group easily. Also use the zerkers merc otherwise they can get dead from their self dot.

I'm new with zerkers, but there is a disc that causes zerkers to bleed and their health is capped at around 80-85%, how do I permanently deactivate use of this disc?

Doing so would really cripple your zerker's dps. Not like a little, like you may as well have a ranger meleeing.

Doze is right, you don't want to eliminate that ability, though the option does exist, but you're neutering yourself if you do. using KA, you just need to set up some conditions on your healers to heal the zerks differently, at lower levels, and it'll address the issue and still allow you to use the ability.

Hey All,

I updated MQ2 for today's patch and now I'm getting a pop-up that says:

Plugin Load Failed
Please recompile C:\....\Release\MQ2Bezerker.dll --
it is out of date with respect to mq2main (1566420379>1563407091)

What do i need to do in order to fix this error?

Thanks in advance!
Torrax

@Warmonger if you own Open Wound or Ritual Scarification there is no way to disable either of those skills. I did include a way to disable bloodfury for those that were experiencing death. There will never be an option to disable open wound or ritual scarification in this plugin.

Ok thanks, I found my cleric to be spamming group heals with Open Wound or Ritual Scarification, so I had to lower the group heal threshold to 80

need some help summoning the correct axes. i did a little test today because my guys are constantly out of axe of the mangler. They always default and summon axe of the demolisher. then they wont use that becuase the plugin is always looking for mangler. anyway we could get this fixed?

I'm running both Rogue and Berzerker plugins and couldn't be more happy with them.
Looking through the Rogue listing I see an AASPEND LIST which I quickly copied over to my rogue and she's piling them up during this double exp weekend.
Is there a version of that file for the Berzerker? I've scoured the site and can't find one.
My zerk is young, lvl 107, and autogrant is about all he's got at the moment. Would be nice to get the proper AA during this weekend exp bonus.

Been a week now since i noticed. still wont summon the correct axes. anyone have a fix or know how to fix this? completley kills off his DPS

Does this use the AA "Drawn to Blood"? That AA moves your toon towards its target, even if its under the effects of Frenzied Resolve (and the Blindness thing, but with map and mq2melee that's not an issue).
