Question - MQ2Autologin and multiple toons per account

I have a group of 6 toons. My main is normally 1 on the list. But I have recently created a mule on each to facilitate the tradeskill work. Can I have another set that logs in instead of my other five mains? And configure both in mq2autologin so that isboxer can pick them instead of my mains?

Given that a character call is needed when using both Innerspace and MQ2AutoLogin, I think that the only way you could accomplish this is to have a second INI that you swap out for MQ2AutoLogin any time that you want to log into your mules.

Just use the mq2login system with profiles. Click tray icon select profile->create new

I just recently started using this. You can have as many profiles as you like, with different combination of toons. I love the one click and 6 toons log in. You can even select them separately out of a profile to log in one at a time.

One trick I use is to type in a name of a toon that is not even on that account and the log in stops at character select, cause there is not a valid toon to log in.

I use isboxer but having to login 23 accounts one at a time kinda sucks, if I dont wait I get resetdevice failure. Might have to give the mq2login a shot

Unfortunately, the new MQ2AutoLogin only has a default delay of few seconds(I think it is whenever one character gets to server select the next one is started).

Custom delay would be so awesome on MQ2AutoLogin ;)

So it is rather painful to load more than 6 characters at once, there is a decent chance one will fail. Some people have no problems at all, some with slower connections will fail more.

I have a set of 6 MQ2AutoLogin profiles x 4 chars each that usually works for loading 24. Better than loading 24 one at a time but worse than one click.

Auto Login is amazing. Agree with Playj, limit it to 6 unless you have 300mbps+ connection and a decent rig or they'll start to fail.

I can load 12 no problem but on slower connections you'll get some accounts that time out.

This is all great information, but I am trying to use ISBoxer to take the SAME 6 accounts to load a different set of toons.

You would need some way for MQ2 to know which toons you want to load... Maybe by window title that ISBoxer sets? I might have some time to work on it this weekend... I use ISBoxer in a similar fashion. I need to commit a bunch of updates to MQ2AFNuke anyway...

Gnits...

I am probably NOT understanding your problem correctly, but haver you tried to just use the ISBoxer wizard and create a new set with the new characters? I use 3 different sets, with characters on at least 2 different accounts. My main (gold) account has al eight slots filled and 2 of them are characters in both of my 6 box sets. Sometimes ISBoxer doesn't have the names in the selection pulldown in the wizard, just type in the names and the account name and the server name in the appropriate boxes. You can even use the same window layout as your other set. Hope that helps.

how do you have autologin set up?
I would love a sample (suitably clear of real names and accounts.

Gnits, I am sorry for not seeing this earlier, it was my weekend for doing spring cleaning of the yard. This old man is wore out lol. Anyways, would you please supply some more info for your question? To be specific when you say how do you have autologin set up?

1. Do you mean the MQ2autologin? if so then please watch this video. Go to Youtube and do a search for this "Redguides MQ2 Login types Part 1" this will get you both parts to this video. He goes through and explains everything about MQ2Autologin and setting it up. He also explains how to use Innerspace to login. Both are easy to use, especially on a daily basis. I use Innerspace because I like the functionality of setting up a set of characters and having the Windows layout associated with it. But I setup and have used MQ2autologin also. I had to do this recently to run the macro for the Drunken Stein quest on all 18 of my characters.

2. or the login used in Innerspace and ISBoxer? There is a video for this too, on how to setup a character set in ISboxer. Well upon further research they took down the EQ1 video for the Quick Setup Wizard but they have one for EQ2 (just substitute EQ1 for the EQ2 parts) .

Also just in case you didn't have it yet here is the link to ISB. Lots of good info here. http://isboxer.com/multiboxing-everquest/videos

Not trying to be nasty or anything but the distinction is important.
