Since the last patch, my MQ window is not saving it's position. Anyone else have this problem and know how to fix it?

Yep, i got the same problem.
I tryed to fix it. Deleted old mq2chatwnd.ini to make a new one. That's not working.

Yeah. I set everything yesterday (including changing the position on the char select positions for each char in the ini) before camping everyone. This morning they were all reset to default (after updating VV).

I didnt try editing the INI but mine is still resetting on every log in.

Make sure you run the RG VV launcher and update to latest release, and then before loggin in, go delete the mq2chatwnd.ini in your mq2/release folder

Ok, Not to beat a dead horse with a stick... But. I did all of the above steps in order and my window is still being an asshole.

Step 1: Start computer
Step 2: Run Redguides Launcher
Step 3: Reinstall MQ2
Step 4: Delete MQ2chatwnd.ini
Step 5: Log in and move window to correct position.
Step 6: Log out
Step 7: Log back in.

Here is the important step......

Step 8: Swear, jump up and down and throw shit, window didn't stay in spot.

Repeat step 1 - 8, same shit.

Any help would be helpful.

Worked for me, but i renamed old MQ2chatwnd.ini, a new one was written once i launched MQ2 exe.

Update: Seems that it only fixed the first toon i logged, others always tilted a bit to NW from original position.

I'm having all sorts of issues with the MQ2 Chat window. Position moves, font size doesn't save...the biggest issue is it's just not showing up at all on certain characters.

Lol yep - same here. Only I didn't do step 3, but did do step 8 a couple of extra times to make up for it. It's now become part of my start up routine: 1) Relocate chat window 2) Close the mule-assist window. I need the exercise anyway.
