Problem - MQ2 Window Missing

Having a noobie problem where my MQ2 Chat window has disappeared on only one of my six bots. Have tried /plugin mq2chatwnd and /echo both. Have also imported a new UI file from one of the characters who was showing the chat box, also without success. If the box got pulled off to the side out of view somehow, not really sure how to go about resetting mq2 ui settings. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

try to look in your windows taskbar and on the mq2 icon select REFRESH INJECTIONS, I have seen a lot of my boxes not loading MQ2 windows after this last patch.

Just tried this with no luck.E q & mq2 were running at the time, is that a problem?

Are you launching all 6 accts with the same method? launcher, or bypass shortcut with 'patchme', or WinEQ/ISBoxer? I'm hoping something is different with the 6th acct.

In your MQ2 Release folder under the MQ2ChatWnd.dll is a MQ2ChatWnd.ini file. This file has the screen cords for you chat window. SOMETIMES the cords get messed up in this file for whatever reason, and it places the chat window "off-screen".

While MQ2 IS NOT RUNNING look in this file and find the [severname.toonname] of the character you having issues with and delete the name and info under the name (careful not to delete info for other char), then save the file. When you next start MQ2 for that toon, it should put your windows back to the default location.

I am having the same issue. I tried deleting the info for my character, but that did not work. I tried changing it to match the other windows and that didn't work. It's like I can see the bottom of the window and can get a right click menu up, but I can't get it to move or show up.

Dumb question but it does need be asked.....When you changed/deleted the info, did you SAVE the info...and did you turn OFF MQ2 before you made the changes and then reload MQ2?

I've had issues when changing stuff if I still had MQ2 loaded when I made changes like that.

Yes mq off and i saved it. It was added back to the bottom with screwed up numbers
