Attached I have a copy of MQ2 compatable with the december 15 EQEmu.

Two things:

Any idea if this works on Winter's Roar? (Because it doesn't for me)

Is that because I'm getting the error that says it is not authorized to run on my machine and to run mq2auth?

Tells the client version? 0.5.3, from Feb 10th, 2004? This one says Sept. 23 2004.

Edit: Since I can't get this to work, also wondering if this has ghost or not.

I'm having trouble getting the file to unzip. I'm at work so I don't have the error message(sorry) but I tried 2 different programs for unzip and neither worked.

Is it just me?

Mine unzipped just fine, want me to email it to you? I'll be here for another 30 minuts then out for 9 hours. If I'm able to email it to you by then, let me know if you get the same auth message as me. Also what emu are you planning on using it for?

I'm new here and I see how these guys use no auth check compiles, but I'm not sure if the error message still comes up or not, or what it means that I got it. I couldn't test it any further because I'm running into that problem. Either I'm not authorized, or the program still gives the message which would mean it wasn't working due to wrong version date for Winter's Roar (SoD).

Ok fisrt I apologize for all the errors yall are getting. I'll be doing another compile in an hour or so that will hopefully not give that mq2auth error.

1) I wouldn't think this would work on WR, although I haven't tested it, it's doubtful because of all the changes they have made.

2) Ok when it says that september 2004 thing on the icon, that's normal. The MQ2 for live says that. Don't pay attention to it.

I'll keep you updated as to what I'm doing.

Ok the new mq2 for normal EQEmu servers in the december 15th client. I know there's a more recent client also, anyone able to give me the date? (should work Working on WR)

If it gives you that not authorized error, I dunno what to say but start posting auth codes....

Alright Cade, I downloaded it, and extracted it perfectly fine. When I ran the program, and error came up about an Auth code. I used MQ2Auth and got it.

are the two lines from mine. Not sure what else to say or post about. I'm noob in the MQ areas

is it possible to get a /zone and /warp plugin for this and since its an emulator server and not live there anyway to /level /kill

I've spent the past 5 hours following 3 different guides on how to set my own server up word for word and still cant get it to work i figure ill just cheat on a server that already works heh

Warp and Zone are already in there, and no, there's no way to /level /kill. But now there's a new version of EQEmu dated 9/13/05, so I'll have to do another compile for that one.
