Question - More characters? (1 Viewer)

I'm planning on stepping up my setup from 7 characters, to 18, and was wondering what classes you would add? Currently have SK, cleric, ench, shm, bard, rogue, and zerker. I have a warrior on another account to add as well, along with a mage, wizard, and druid.
What I was thinking:
War, 2 cleric, bard, pally, sk for 1 group
Bst, ber, rog, shm, bard, monk group 2
Ench, wiz, mage, necro, bard, druid for 3.
Would having a hard for each group really be overkill? Or would the added dps and tanking be worth the loss of other classes?
Thoughts? Opinions? Am I an idiot?
Edit: I correctly run Modbot (have for years, but willing to look into other macros!)

I have 18, but only because I wanted to try all classes.
1 Warr group - the group I play
1 Pal group
1 Shd group
The pal and shd groups I have stationed att some lightblue con farming spots just doing their thing. Not all have krono so not very strong.

I guess it all comes to what you want to do? Try it. Are you planning on Krono them, do it now so you get the Heroics, then you can switch around any class you want until you find your sweet perfect groups.

PAL,DRU,BRD,ZER,ZER,ZER

I enjoy doing older content/raids but I am a little out of balance atm.
So many choices!!!
I find i need some more caster dps/ranged dps so i would like to add more Mage's and or Ranger and I want more Wizzies too
Will probably have to just add another grp.

The groups that I am targeting for now are

War,Clr,Enc,Wiz,Wiz,Mag
SK,Shm,Brd,Berz,Berz,Berz
War,Shm,Brd,Rgr,Bst,Rog

I want to get them up and kronoed while I am WFH and have a time where I am supposed to be working, but no one notices that I am playing video games.

I would like to get a group that each class would do well in, but I have not found a group that these classes would do well in Dru, Mnk, Pal, Nec

I'll give you a hint, my paladins are sustaining almost what my bers do in those groups.

I am assuming thats in TOV like content with lots of undead?

my Play is pushing pretty good numbers in ToV with 2handers. Outside of undead, he’s pretty mediocre.
