Anyone else have a moody crew with separation anxiety... Seems like my little mage, druid ench crew will camp a spot for hours if I am sitting there with no troubles or interference on my behalf; however, if i leave the computer they are invariably dead. Only come back to the comp once and found them still chugging away.

I'll get it every once awhile but i've either change a few things around on plugins or macros to fix it or just got on a habit of restarting the computer every day. I think most of it is video lag sometimes but its random

Yes, EQ has a built in sensor function now. Your toons will commit Hari Kari suicide once you leave your keyboard for more than 5 minutes. Its a new feature they added.

Sorry ... had to do that.. could NOT resist.
I've had no issues like this for over 2 years, outside of the occasional jealous prick who trains my group while i'm afk grinding (because they are pissed i'm killing all the mobs too fast).

I spend several days learning, scouting, testing an area/camp/zone when establishing my afk camps.
I study everything from mob types/classes in the area.. roaming patterns, average PC's in the area, frequency of caster mobs, summoning mobs.. land terrain/topography...and a plethora of other factors.

It takes a long time for me to move on to a new camp site.. in a new zone.. but when i pick one.. it is the best one for my group and play style.

That being said .... I don't afk wipe anymore.. lol

I found that happened sometimes for a few reasons...

I'm in a zone that has swarmers who cause a lag spike

I WAS using MQ2FPS so background toons would lag

My mercs would over nuke/heal too quickly

EQ hamster fell asleep on the wheel and servers died
