Discussion - Mono-Race Groups (AKA Gnome Power) (1 Viewer)

I enjoy artificial, self-imposed limitations as much as the next nerd.
I have an all-Gnome 5-box:

• Warrior, Cleric, Enchanter, Rogue, Wizard

Which other Gnome class should I add and why?
Assume the goal is to reach the heights of the hardest current group mission content.

On a broader topic, anyone else have a mono-race group they play or think about creating?
Here are the Race Class combinations.

I have also seriously considered going one of each Wood Elf, which would give:

• Bard, Beastlord, Druid, Ranger, Rogue, Warrior

What are your thoughts on this?

Very nice, I main raid with a mage, so I usually look for something different in my experiments.
But yeah those conjunctions and pet synergies are great.
How far have you taken the little casters?

SHD / CLR / ENC / MAG x 1 are maxed. The other two Mages I run as FTP accts, so they are 115.

Froglok:
SK/PAL, Shm, Nec, Rog x3

Half-Elf:
Pal, Dru, Bard, Ranger, Rog x2

Human: same as DE and Drakkin

Iksar:
SK, Shm, Bst, Nec x3

Ogre:
SK, Shm, Bst, Zerk x3

Troll: Same as Ogre

Vah Shir:
War, Shm, Bst, Rog x2, Zerk

Woodie:
War, Bst, Bard, Dru, Rng, Rog

I was trying to finish the list before I caught wife aggro, so I was sort of doing a speedrun and those fell through the cracks :-p As far as the classes not mentioned, I think only Wiz and Monk were excluded. Those could easily be placed in any caster or melee group, but I was going with what I thought would be the most effective group make-up rather than just the most fun

High Elf:
Pal, Ench, Clr, Mag x3

Halfling (I love lings):
War, Clr, Dru, Rng, Rog x2

Love the sound of that all Wood Elf group PG723; Tank, Heals, CC, Adps, Ports, melee firepower, Ranger gate, run speed...sign me up.

My all-Halfling, one of each available Halfling class WAR, PAL, CLR, DRU, RNG, ROG group isn't nearly as balanced/powerful/1337, but they are fun. Mighty slow levellers, may be all the eating times and pub stops.
