Modified AF Nuke Macro (Wiz,Mage)

I've made a lot of changes since my last update. This was tested an hour ago with enc/bard in group 3 wizards were sustaining over 100k and mage 70-85k. (I pull 3 or more every pull or try to) otherwise it wont use burn AAs which is what you want it to do. Posted below are inis for my 105 wizard and 105 mage.

You can fill in the wizard buffs i don't use any. It will auto cast the best familiar if you have enc or bard in group or both. No need to use Rk in spell names or buffs.

Now lets talk about mages. Right now its just here for dps. If you die it will summon a new pet. Pet items are not supported yet i may or may not add them. The goal here was to get 100% of the dps a mage is capable of rest of the support a mage can do I will add later. It will not pet tank dont ask. ( I guess technically it would if you use earth pet) but it will not heal it.

Now what this macro does.

It will burn on named or when you pull 5+ mobs. It will cast claw whenever its up if claw procs a twincast it will cast only ethereals. I've been using this version for months while updating it for a 100 wizard and it works great.

I can't get the macro to run,its asking for a wait4rez.inc file , which i don't have.
 
Liking this macro a lot so far, it does a great job of weaving the right spells. I've been poking around a bit in the code and it doesn't seem to use improved twincast. I would like it to use improved twincast on named burns and the spell version when it's not up. Has anyone else edited it for this purpose?

I noticed that nytemyst updated his mac about a month ago. Do you keep yours updated as well or do you continue to use nytemyst's and just tweak it?

I'm tempted to try out a seperate mac for my wizard and see if I can't increase my DPS a bit more (although with KA setting I can pull aggro off my SK from time to time).
 
I modified an earlier version of his. Mine is primarily focused on max dps. I have an updated version just not posted yet.
 
Started playing with this and I like it but am having problems with the leash aspect. It seems to set an anchor at a spot and the toon continuously moves back there. I can't move away without ending the macro. I want the wizard to autofollow and can do this with stick but that also breaks after a target is cleared. Any suggestions on how to get the wizard to autofollow the tank?

Having this same issue. The code section above is not in my wizzys ini. I tried adding it under general with my tanks name and that didn't help. Is there a different ini file to look at? Mine is the same as the one will posted.
 
Tried that out, also downloaded the mac/ini file again just to see if they were changed. The fields show up in the ini now when it gets re-created but the toon still doesnt want to leash to the leashtoon. Replaced my tanks name in this version.

Well with the general.inc and afnuke.mac provided, finally my wiz follows. Not liking leash all that much but at least it seems to get the job done now. Seems I cannot change the leash distance and wiz wants to stick right next to the tank. Also, leash seems to have quite a bit of delay and not quite a smooth run. Any further insight to these minor things would be appreciated.
 
I've just been leashing to a different toon, because as you said it does follow pretty close.
 
Yes I tried this one but then the toon I picked bugged out and fell in the water and so did the wiz. I guess there really are no other options besides having to modify this macro.
 
If you can't get doleash to work.. use "/stick hold 30 (or whatever you want) healer" and it will follow "till the cows come home".
That's how I get my cleric to follow the SK when I use Fastheal and it works like a charm. Hundreds of trips through "Into the Hills" and never a problem.
 
I added a doleashtoon feature to fastheal and I posted the tweaked version of the file , has a ini addy for doleashtoon=1 for tank and stuff

does the lvl100.ini file have to be changed to toonname.ini or such or does it get pasted into same ini file created by mq2melee?

anyone got an INI file for an 85 wizard to go with this?

tried it with he default ini it makes and dps seems poor about 2k, also autoattack is on constantly even when in OOC mode.

havent a clue with wizards so also a round up of what spells i should have loaded and what AA's i should have hotkeyed would be great

i've had this issue before just required me restarting the macro or EQ
Have also had it where it locks up my whole EQ UI and i cant use anything on my hotbar
but this is only after a while
 
just wondering - cause all my stuff is updated like its supposed to be - atleast by my eye's and I cant seem to get it to cast anything but the AA nuke's
 
I did , still not casting any spells - will only casts force of flame wii and ice - and follows - targets everything else -

he will assist main tank - follow main tank - but will not cast 1 spell

Casts Force of wii
Casts Force of Flame
Casts force of ice


doesn't cast any spell --

cant get any debug on it - or see anything wrong with code - not getting any errors either -

assuming you have the right ranks for each spell on there so no idea. delete the INI start over just change the mainassist names and the clawnuke. Once it cast the claw nuke change mainnukes1-2

For people who don't understand this code. If you have a target and its a PC he will be your main assist if you have no target and group tank role is set he will be the main assist. If none of these happen it uses the names in the ini.

DoLeashToon I changed it so it does not use spawn to follow it now will ONLY leash if the person listed is in your group but it is much more reliable.
Force nukes between cast have been changed to use a timer so its more reliable. The assist check sub was replaced with an updated one it is much more reliable and faster.
Added Chromatic Haze nuke it will act like Gift of Mana if you have the buff it will always cast that nuke first.
