Been doing MG but seems messy with hunter mode on the 4th floor with the mesh/stairs/doors any other suggestions for good spots?

I'll give this a try tonight ive been going by the named maybe sticking in the first room is better. Just using puller tank?

The best spot I've found to pull to is on the "2nd"?? floor (The one you get to when using the Mark II expediator), go through the first tunnel, then next tunnel to this big room, with conveyor belts, if you walk pretty much into the middle of the room it's a safe spot with no wanderers and there is plenty to pull from both directions (a lot more than top floor). However, I have also found that if you max shrink and levitate all toons they don't get stuck as much in the tunnels, you still have to pay some attention and manually move toons on occasion but the best xp I've found is grind through floor 2 to floor 4, clear floor 4, click back down to floor 2 and it's all back up to clear again. Just using chase mode to get through and occasionally moving toons manually.

The Field of Scale mission "The Price of Knowledge". Close to 400 mobs in kaesora library. It doesn't repop, but its a good chunk of mobs. Takes me 45 to an hour to clear it. Then kick the instance, run over to Jaled Dar and pull it again.

A tip though if you do this, use Hunter tank, and turn stick OFF. if you don't your dudes will rotate around and fall off the ledges into the pit and you'll be dealing with 20+ mobs.

Just like, to the left after entering the big room.

Sorry, I'm just wondering because I always get knocked into that machinery and the pipes that are to the left over there and my puller gets stuck. I hate my camp spot (in the tunnel just after porting up) but I also don't want to get stuck. Gonna see if i can figure it out, thanks for the info!

Oh. Ive never gotten stuck there, and Ive spent a fair share of time there. Cant really specify a spor either as Ive just ballparked the placement.

Levitate and /ReturnToCamp

On the top floor of MG, I usually enter the big room and clear to the right. I set up along the center wall just right of center and do a 400 pull radius with 60 Zradius and I find it will keep the whole floor cleared. I tend to beat repops by a few minutes now.

This spot works cause the big guys will Knockback into the wall I find and theres little to no issues getting stuck on anything.

When it was live, Convorteum was the best experience in the expansion if you could handle it, but you do need progression to get in. There is a populated Convorteum instance called The First Corruption. It's an escort mission, but it doesn't start until you do the hail, so you could just ignore the mission and instance flip it if you so chose.

There's actually group instances of every underfoot zone as part of the progression path, so if you find one you like, instances are always an option.

Underfoot wasn't the easiest expansion as a general statement, though. There was a decent uptick in trash HP from SoD, and, with no level increase, wherever you're grinding right now might still be among the best options.

When UF was current, swarming hadn't quite been nerfed. If we weren't after a specific drop we usually grinded in arthicrex/foundation/lichen creep unless we had a legit tank/healer/puller for convorteum. Otherwise we smashed kaesora and OBF cause with UF aas and group gear it trivialized SoD a heck of a lot. I also remember lots of peeps using OMM missions and doing UF progression missions cause they still rewarded decent exp at the time.

Do you remember if any of them respawn or not?

For gear, I am not worried on that part. I just want out of the MG era and want new content to grind on.

It's been a long time. I don't specifically remember any of them respawning, though. However, even if they did then, it's no guarantee they do now.

The August 17, 2022 Patch Notes come with this very important quote. "- Removed respawn of NPCs from many mission and raid zones."

make sure to turn off or click off runspeed's and if your using a bard turn off bard speed
make camp radius 15 to 20

I do all of this, the issue is those steam suit guys have a knockback that, if they hit me at a bad angle it pushes my char into a spot that isn’t on the mesh and so he gets stuck there until I move him

I park my guys at that cubby in the middle of the top floor that divides to two halves. Tank out front I put campfire inside and any undergeared characters I am leveling up to 85 in there also. Lev does help but tank sometimes does get stuck 1-2 per 6 hour.

As an addition, pellucid grotto mission Seeding Frenzy pops a good chunk of the zone. I jumped in and cleared this a couple times to do some AAs. I found it had more mobs than Destroyer, and pulls werent crazy difficult. Getting flagged to request this isnt too hard either.

No repops though unfortunately.

MG is ok if you are under geared or struggle with later zones, but the xp is vastly slower. You're looking at max around 130-135 mobs/hr in MG, compared to upwards of 300+ mobs/hr doing Library (Price of Knowledge).

Price of Knowledge - set your chase and stick settings close, make sure you have levi and shrink, get your iksar masks and keep them up. I ran this instance all the way from fresh level 80 autogrant until max AAs in SoD. Tradeskill loot I picked up in this instance carried most of my material needs for Shawl prep.

I prefer Bonfire of the Adherents for UF instance grind. It pops around 370 mobs that you can get in small pulls which is a nice long grind before grabbing another one. Can also sell TAs and complete the quest on your last run of the day.

Pellucid Grotto instance (Seeding Frenzy) or completing the Filling the Repository task can be a nice lesson grind.

I ran tests the other day in MG/Library/Korafax and Underquarry.

MG is brainless and has decent cash loot, but you'll run out of mobs and have downtime
Library was best exp/hr and 2nd best cash loot, but also included Vanadium and Immaculate which will be pretty necessary throughout UF
Korafax was miserable. Blinds, charms, terrible cash loot, low kills/hr. Do not recommend.
Underquarry was on par with Library for exp (Tested on ants) but pulls were messy, terrain was iffy, and it was something I wouldn't feel comfortable AFK'ing.

Overall Library seems pretty solid right now for grinding

Fall of Tae Ew spawns around 300+ mobs, was easy to hunter it with my group, just throw the amygdalan guardians on ignore.

Gouzah Safari in morells castle I noticed had respawns... no pre reqs to request either other than morrells castle flag.

With VoA (veil of alaris) about to unlock, any noteworthy instances? I've never really explored that expansion.

Im returning to Mischief and seen this thread, i had to start the rest of my box crew as i only ever used one account on mischief, and unfortunately its a beastlord, so cant really do much power leveling. Are there any instances i can do in the low 30s to kind of help Power level them up?

low 30s the best instances to do are LDoN. I find the commonlands ones are reliable enough to turn KA hunter on and walk away for 30 mins if you havent done any mesh work.

with tds about to come out i suggest grinding in the tempest temple ha. there is no prereq to request it you can hunter mode in it decently and its a full pop zone. once you get into dredge i would swap to that ha. unlike cotf the has in tds dont have all their exp tied to finishing it so you can just open it semi watch it and come back later to reset it.

ive been able to grind the arx ha and the thulisaur ha in mischief pretty easily. you do have to be up to those zones in prog but a full pop thulisaur that doesnt wreck your factions is pretty good. you can throw on hunter mode and afk for about 2hrs and come back and recycle it. arx is only like 40mins though theres not as many mobs and you need to get them into the pyramid.

Its also hard to beat gribbles otw to hitting 105. Friday - sunday doing 9-10 gribble runs with double exp going got me to 105. Had a campfire in TT/BI to port to and finish off lessons/pots if i had time left.

Ran the thuliasaur HA last night, good for grinding, as long as you don't complete the mission it wont boot you. Also got 3 named spawns after I progressed far enough.

Theres got to be 200-250 mobs in the instance, I got booted after about 100 kils post-completion and still had the aviak and giant areas to clear out

I found Tempest Temple HA was alright if thuliasaur was hitting a bit too hard, I'd keep up on gribbles as I felt they were still better exp for time invested.

in tbm the best mission to grind for xp is this one https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/quest.html?quest=8081 its literally the first mission you get to in prog. i do recommend bringing cc. w/o ae mez youre gonna wipe sometimes. i just run hunter mode and come back in 20mins. it has like 150ish mobs in a very small zone. some of the mobs do have alot of hp and you will easily get like 10 mobs on you when you first enter some of the bigger rooms but its the most dense zone and requires less then 10mins of work to be able to open. another good one is the ha for health. which opens up pretty quickly to but you will want to farm that to win until you have your 6 wins and have used the collect 6 times for prog reasons.

all has / missions can also drop the 40 stat type 5s.
