Wondering about a specific setting (MezSpell). From the wiki:

[Mez] Settings
MezOn=0/1/2/3 0=Off/1=Single & AE Mez/2=Single Mez only/3=AE Mez only. (Default 0)
MezRadius - Radius to detect mobs surrounding enchanter/bard (Default 50)
MezMinLevel - Minimum level of mobs to mez within MezRadius
MezMaxLevel - Maximum level of mobs to mez within MezRadius
MezStopHPs - Mob HPs to stop mezzing at. (Default 80)
MezSpell - Your mez spell or song
MezAESpell|# - Your AE mez spell or song|Number of mobs - 2 would try to aemez if 2 or more mobs are within MezRadius. 0=off

Here is an example of the Mez section for a 65 Enchanter
Rich (BB code):
[Mez]
MezOn=1
MezRadius=50
MezMinLevel=55
MezMaxLevel=68
MezStopHPs=80
MezSpell=Bliss
MezAESpell=Wake of Subdual Rk. II|2

Now I looked thru a ton of posted INIs and most use MezSpell=SomeSpell while they use the |#Mobs on MezAESpell implying that KA will use MezSpell for one extra mob in camp and MezAESpell for 2 or more?

My question is, can't I use MezSpell=Bliss|2 and MezAESpell=Wake of Subdual Rk. II|3? It isn't spelled out how KA will handle a single extra mob and using |2 on MezAESpell tells me that the single spell MezSpell wont fire since any add will be 2 or more thus firing MezAESpell.

I only found one example of using the #Mob tag in the single MezSpell setting. I am using |2 for the single and |3 for the AE and it seems to work but I have only tested it in a spot where there are rarely adds and never more than 1 extra.

If this gets spelled out I will update the wiki to reflect it.

In my experience, the chanter will use the single target mezz on all adds til the parameters for the AEmezz are met.
So if you set the AE to fire on |4 adds your chanter should single target mezz all adds from the quantity of 1 to 3 adds.
If no AE defined or using MezOn=2 it should try to singlr cast mezz ALL adds (even if there were 10+ of them), but its targeting might be limited to the #of mobs displayed on your Xtarget window.

Its pretty strait forward

Rich (BB code):
MezOn=0/1/2/3 0=Off/1=Single & AE Mez/2=Single Mez only/3=AE Mez only. (Default 0)

MezSpell - Your mez spell or song
MezAESpell|# - Your AE mez spell or song|Number of mobs - 2 would try to aemez if 2 or more mobs are within MezRadius. 0=off

MezSpell=single Mez spell. If MezOn=1/2 it will try and single mez every mob in camp when there are 2 or more mobs. This setting is only the spell/song it accepts NO TAGS. |2 or |mob will only cause it to fail.

MezAESpell=AE Mez Spell. If MezOn=1/3 then the mezzer will try to AEMez the mobs first depending on the number you set. |3=AEmez when 3 or more mobs are in camp. After the AEMez is cast the mezzer will try to single mez each mob if MezOn=1. As long the amount of mobs in camp is >= to your |3 tag then the mezzer will continue to AEMez when the previous AEMez wears off.

This is what I call an OverMez strategy. It is not the most mana efficient but it is the best and safest method of crowd control for macroing a mezzer.

Since mezzed mobs frequently drop off the Xtarget window the AEMez is important to keep all mobs under control.

In my experience with a heroic chanter, the overmez strategy is solid. My little baby chanter was mezzing adds in The Grounds like a freaking champ.
