Question - Merc Help

new to MQ2 and kissassist, 3 boxing heroic rogue, bard and shaman at moment while i get used to it

using kissassist ini's for heroic characters from site and all seem soka tm except my mercs wont attack unless i have autoassist set in eq itself and then they run outside of radius for my toons to assist.

merc section of ini's is

Help=To use: Turn off Auto Assist in Manage Mercenary Window
MercOn=1
MercAssistAt=99

any ideas why this doesnt work?


Also having problems with targeting on rogue who is puller. certain mobs are not pullable so hets stuck on them, any way i can exclude him from targeting them? am sure is aw somethign along these lines somehwere

To ignore a mob just type /addignore mobname while KA is running. Ex: /addignore a leaf pile

As for the merc... I'm not sure. Mine is a complete moron. :-)

tried the /addignore cmd but all i got was cant parse a resting Bloodmoon orc

Open any of your kissasssist ini files and set KissAssistVer=0 to 0 in the [General] section. restart Kiss on that toon it will force Kiss to rewrite aliases and the command will work. also can do partial names like just resting and kiss will find the closest mob to you with that in their name.

another noob question

is there any way of excluding an eq instance from MQ2?
i.e am afk boxing 3 toons but want to play on another without MQ2

You can load up mq2 and then /unload on the char you don't want to have MQ2.

I would also ensure that you are setting the proper roles for your toons:
MA, Puller, Mark etc. This is done in EQ not through KA or MQ2.

Which ever toon is the leader of your group you can right mouse on any toon then you get a window with the drop down to select the role you want to use
