i am wantingh to know the best places for fining ingrediant eg pepper, vanilla, distilled water ect. any hlp appreciated

hi there! Pepper is a tier 1 common ingredient, harvestable from gardens. It's pretty random on what you get. But you might be able to score some from the broker, if you can't harvest any.

Tier 1 provisioners can find things like Barley, Raw Pecan, Raw Basil, Raw Nutmeg, Baubleshire Cabbage, Black Coffee Bean, Pepper in the newbie zones around your starting town. For instance, if you were in Qeynos, you'd start looking for these in a zone such as Oakmyst, and the Forest Ruins, etc.

Vanilla is Tier 2. You're going to get that in Antonica, Common lands. You're going to find vanilla inside of Shrubberies. It's a common ingredient. Other things you'll find in shrubberies include Blue Succulent, Carrot, Murdunk Orange, Raw Thyme, Black Walnut, Black Tea Leaf, Wheat, and of course... Vanilla!

I'll either find a great link for this, or else work on making a more organized chart... but until then, here's some other zones where you can find stuff for provisioning - compliments of EQ2 Stratics and various other information sources:


Tier 3 Thundering Steppes / Nek -- I rarely find anything near the zone entries. It usually requires that I do in deep and explore a bit before I find stuff.

Oh, and distilled water, and lots of these things can be found at your wholesaler, depending on what level your crafting society is at.
