Problem - MacroQuest doesn't launch

I've tried deleting all MQ2 / Very Vanilla files, I've ran as admin, was working up until most recent patch. Launcher no longer launches any form of MQ2, tried going into file to run it that way and still a no go. 2nd computer is running it no problem. Any suggestions will help please

if you're having issues with autologin/mq "connecting/injecting" to everquest, you can toggle on the debug console if after you turn that on and try and launch eq - and you get either of these, it means something is having an issue with running as administrator or you don't want eq run as...

Most folks citing a similar issue recently have been running into an elevation issue which results in no injection.

Follow the debug steps and it should give you some info

I'm not even getting it to launch for it to pop in as a running program. Regardless of how I open as admin or normal. Beyond appreciated in any response

This might sound like a stupid question, but have you tried re-starting your computer? Could be something in Windows is just messing with the program.

EDIT: Also, make sure to add your MQ and Redguides folders to your AV exceptions list just in case the AV has suddenly decided to bork some files.

Would definitely start by checking that you don't have anti virus quarantining it

No anti virus running to even stop it sadly.

I'm kinda having the same problem, except it just takes quite awhile loading the RGL the last couple weeks all of the sudden. not sure what's up with it. takes about 30 seconds, like it hangs or something.

It might be worth using redfetch to do a complete fresh install to a non-default install directory - something easy to navigate to, etc and see if you have luck there

Running redfetch made mq2 load on all accounts, however I had to update the Mesh because it wasn't running MQ2 through my originally folder anymore - redfetch loaded everything, is there anyway I can get it all back on my mq2 launcher again? redguide launcher still doesnt load actual mq2.

Redfetch is only the method of downloading, doesn't have anything to do necessarily with MQ running. I suspect you have permission issues with where your other stuff was loaded.

Just copy your config and resource folder from your old location to your new install location
