Question - Lua positions

I've looked through my config folder but not sure about this.

Is there a .ini file that sets the position of Lua imguis? When I load my box crew my Lua GUIs are all over the place. Is there a way to get them all in the same place?

I believe most of them lie in the Macroquest_Overlay file in your config directory

Dear Imgui is the library for the overlay.

Saying "position of Lua" would be more likely asking what folder directory your .Lua files go in.

The imgui windows location information is saved in macroquest_overlay.ini

Lua is the programming language. "Lua" is not the imgui overlay graphics window - that is "dear imgui" or colloquially (and antiquatedly) "imgui".

it would be like looking at a paragraph and trying to ask "where is the sentence" and instead saying "Where is english".

imgui is a library (originally in c++, but made to be usable in Lua for MacroQuest).


maybe a better example would be something like:

- let's assume you speak english
- let's assume at your job you have a bunch of work-specific terminology/acronyms and then even more specific with different departments - accounting, HR, purchasing, etc.

asking "where can i look at the english" when you are trying to ask "where can i ask about the terminology that our purchasing dept uses" wouldn't make sense
