I discovered this quite by accident and thought I'd share it. If you have a group task and immediately drop the task and re-request it upon completion you can skip the lockout one time each quest cycle.
For tasks like these two where you receive the lockout upon opening--you just need to make sure one person is out of the zone and ready to re-request. Sure that one person doesn't get the benefits of doing the task but it sure makes neck farming quicker when you can loot-scoot-redo quickly.
For tasks like these you just need to do the final hail, "/kickp t" then re-hail to get it again really quickly.
Why would you do this?
- 2x the XP for easily soloable GROUP missions. (Run your main and get everyone XP)
- 2x mission currency for when you need it on someone.
- 2x the chance for aug components & neck drops from group missions.
How much time do you have to do it?
- This really depends on server lag. Just go quickly and you should be fine.
Before you try make sure you're ready to loot (if applicable), the right person is Task Leader so they can kick, you have the person ready to re-request the mission, and you're not accidentally invis and therefore Shalowain won't talk to you (made that mistake before)
