I am running a 6 member team. We are doing all the SoR quests, and I'm trying to drive this with my main in full screen and everyone else minimized. I use TaskHud to track distance from main, invis status, etc, aand I'm looking for a Lua that will show me task status for each member. For example running Shards of Magis - who has all 4 Blood Samples, Who completed step 2, etc. I currently have to stop and pull each window up one at a time when distributing loot for quests. I feel like I saw one a couple of years ago, but I can't remember. I did a search in the Lau forum for "Quest" and did not see a team aggrogator app. Anything out there?

just fyi - you really mean "imgui window" and not necessarily "Lua"

i still use status for this cause of habit / lazy / pre-imgui
/dg all /status queststep cool quest name of stuff

some folks use taskhud which you mentioned - not sure why that doesn't work for you - tho it sounds like you are actually talking about boxhud

as far as loot goes - i use lootly and do a /setitem keep|5 "cool item in quotes" and then /dgga /status item cool item to check who has what

obviously extra typing, but i just edit a couple of hotkeys as im working on a quest

also: you said "minimized" i hope you don't actually hit the "minimize" button and just mean "in the background"

I think Sic's answer is quite good to work with, as a potential extra, I have been away so unsure it works with SoR, so check out Grimmy's QuestWatch and iTrack to see if that helps you or not.

Yes, my bad. I do have TaskHud, I was just thinking about a Taskhud, BoxHud mashup. So instead of seeing only one char at a time, I could have a table where I selected "Quest", then it listed each char and the step status. Maybe I'm too greedy.

I had the same issue with taskhud, and I have been working on a YALM/Taskhud mashup that has an easier way to see who has what quests (did they all really talk to that NPC or was the rogue hiding and drunk) and then maybe a way to detect the necessary quest items at loot time, and distribute them without getting into a loot rule for everything. Taskhud does a bangup job of refreshing and showing me who has done what, but the refresh tends to change the character selected, and some other weird behavior. I drive from my ML with my other windows only minimally visible as well so I feel your pain, and in some cases, I have as many as 13 characters running at the same time.

When the servers come back up I can get you a screenshot of what I have going for the task piece which is working pretty well. It is baked into the YALM bastardization I am attempting but I think it could be split out. The loot piece is whipping my ass pretty good but I am learning a lot as Claude and I work through the most recent dumb thing I broke or told him to break.

Something I am working on as a frankenstein bastardization of YALM and Tashhud that makes YALM aware of quests and the loot needed. Yeah, I know it is a STUPID level of automation when I could just type in the name of the item and keep/ignore but hey, I am learning things and I enjoy the hell out of working through a problem.

So you can ignore the test buttons, but the jist of it is this. I am driving with the main tank who is also my ML, so they stick as the quest character once I set them. The task also stays selected between refreshes which was something I struggled with taskhud on. Each objective shows which character needs it with [6] indicating the group leader and ML. It does not show their individual quantities still required because I can't come up with a good idea to display that in a compact area. Even at 4K screen real estate is precious because there are so many windows. It clearly shows who has this quest (all 5 other members) and how many characters we are tracking. The core of the idea is taskhud, I am mostly just tweaking the UI and making it a little more stable.

I have tried taskhud, but it seemed too clunky to me, and it kept resetting what quest it was watching whenever I got an update. I would love to have an easier way to make sure everyone got the update, especialy when I am using the group give command, or DMMSI to do hails and updates.

Until then, I just hotkey through all 6 toons in the group and check the quest overlay to make sure they look the same. And do that at all of the steps.
