At what level can you use /rg or anything to help level toons, CTWN works, but want bard, wiz to do something lol? I am probably an idiot, but searched and searched, is just guides saying use a druid, cleric, mage ds and so forth lol.

you can use the automation plugins starting level 1. The bard and wizzy don't have the ctwn plugins yet like other classes so you'll have to use a different automation set up for those two classes such as kissassist or rgmercs.

for example: my magicians run on MQ2Mage CWTN plugin but my enchanter, SK and cleric run on kissassist with inis i have set up.

Personally I use a special kiss ini to have my high lvl druid cast buffs , heals and DS on the lowbies from outside the group

RGMercs would be my vote as you are already using plugins which is an out of the box solution. RGMercs is also an out of the box solution. Not as flexible as Kiss, but is likely what you'd be comfortable with.

@bigdogs175 when I started with RG I used RGMercs to run a group from level 1 through 70. At that stage I started to play around with Kiss and the other resources to help play the group. The bonus with RGMercs was that it automatically updates/uses character skills and spells, you just need to ensure you update them regularly. Say every 4 levels and keep equipment good on tank especially.

From my own experience, using kiss assist from level 1 on your toons allows you to build your ini more efficiently. I adjusted my toons ini each level or every few levels. This is really teaching me how I want my toons to play. Hope this helps.

On wiz and bard, I can get RG to work a little, bard will sing selo's that it. Wiz just sits there hehe. On necro with CTWN, only sends in pet. It's fine, brought a mage and pally down to buff and ds, isn't perfect. But, it works hehe.

Agreed. Everyone who uses KISS should understand how to build and edit the .ini file directly instead of relying on user submitted resources. They may make a good starting point, but there is so much more value in being able to customize the functionality to your specific character and group setting.

There is a macro that will run the tutorial and get your toons to level 12-13. From there kissassist or rgmercs can easily take over.

If you want the customization of KA with a bit nicer interface, I've tried absolutely every single automation option on this site with my bard, and MuleAssist + Maui is the bees knees. Maui makes tinkering and changing things on the fly as simple as the CWTN plugins, and once you get things set up (Start from one of the library templates to learn from, then keep tweaking it until it's perfect for you), the bard smashes. Mine can keep a shocking amount of overpulled mobs perma-mezzed. Way more than I can do manually playing the bard

The pulling is very brute force, so I leave that to my SK, but otherwise MA + Maui is playing what seems to be a pretty optimal bard for me at 110 and has all along

I will go over how I prepare my leveling experience, but I have a lvl 115 mage and cleric plus a heroic (85) boost that I use as a tank once I get my new toon or group of toons to lvl 56.

Undead zones are the best as no mob runs to get unnecessary or deadly adds. I use KissAssist on my mage and cleric to assist my new toon to cast dmg shield and heal. I also make sure my cleric throws out the highest lvl of the Kings reverse dmg shield / healing on all mobs pulled.

Once they hit lvl 56 I group them with my heroic paladin and level them up to 85 at which point they can join my group of 115s the rest of the way.
