Just ran across this, and it's firing skills and discs so much faster than my current macro du jour! I'm loving the speed that it executes skills (and mobs!)

Only thing I've noticed and maybe i'm missing something blatantly obvious here... I've had to manually engage the rogue for every single fight, since i hit attack on, the Lua seems to handle 'the rest'. I stripped my macro of everything but melee engage and positioning so they would run in tandem.. but doesn't it not have a positioning / assist/engage switch somewhere? I looked and maybe it's obvious but i'm definitely missing it.
 
Correct, this is for a manual ish played rogue, it only fires discs, ability’s etc. you have to manually move and engage.

I’m guessing you could pair with a blank kiss ini that has engagement enabled

I've been trying out LeRogue recently and made an observation that has been touched on discussion earlier:


Ah, I see what they did. It's still a "Fear" effect, but they changed it to function as a stun. It no longer makes them run away.

This is with regards the first rank of Intimidation given to rogues at level 11, and unable to buy the second rank until level 70.

As can be seen it is very much the fear as you had first been thinking of, until get that second rank.


I understand that LeRogue may have at one point been a "Gold 85+" script.
It also feels from the discussion thread that the view has relaxed and encourage others to use it. ( here I am ! :D )


In that spirit, I have two points of suggestion.
  • Make "intimidation" execute if have the AA rank 2 or better. ( Gold will have it, but Silver or F2P won't necessarily have it 70 - 125 ).
  • perhaps a toggle switch, check box, to use "intimidation" so player can override. In which default for rank 1 is off, rank 2+ is on.

The community may have different ideas but thought to post here and see what is thought.

I was wondering if LeRogue works with MQ2Rogue to somehow increase rogues DPS or will this Lua interfere with MQ2Rogues functionality?

no, mq2rogue unloads lerogue. you shouldn't try and run conflicting autoamation

Sorry for the late reply. LeRogue doesn't handle movement, setting camps, assisting, or anything like that.
It's designed for people who want to stay in the driver's seat.
However, it pairs very well with KissAssist if you want full automation (just let LeRogue handle abilities and burns instead of KissAssist).
