Guide - Laurion's Song T3 Items

Hello Friends,
Gonna continue GoldenFrog and BobWeaver's efforts in NOS and crowd source LS.
Please feel free to send me name scrubbed /log file entries for looting T3 drops from named and I will compile the list as I get them. Discord or PM's here.

Note, these are T3 drops: Gallant XXX Armor Lining, Gallant xxx Polishing Cloth, Gallant Focus of Fortitude, ect.
T1 Drops are Obscured Gallant Resonance Head Armor. Please be mindful if searching loot logs.

Italics are unconfirmed drops. Moving to confirmed after 3 consistent reports.
Bold are conflict in reports. Could drop both, but need more data to confirm. Leaning toward mistaken report.


Post in thread your finding's and we'll see if we can get this year mapped out. Assuming they follow a similar pattern to last year.

ALL T3 items are same as NOS. 100% RNG im sure some will have more ways of dropping others like some more for BP / 2 hander vs wrist etc.
***EVERY named listed below has dropped a heroism or fortitute for me, plus the acoltye for the new augs for evolve neck.

Missions have been SHIT for me, only seen Boots, 2 hander and Bow from missions and ive run 3 missions a day since day after launch (my toons are max Type 5 augs already) + only seen 1 neck total.

I have completed hunter, but this is my remembrance of each piece all of our toons are in NOS raid gear, so we rotted all of the findings. Will keep a better eye out now

To clarify, these are Gallant (T3) drops you are listing? Or are you mixing T2 in this list as well? (Obscured Steadfast)

I use EQLogparser. Load the entire file or partial, then view events => Looted items.

If you copy and paste to excel, open office, sheets, ect, and remove toon names, feel free to send to me in a DM. I'll add it to the data.

Additionally, I am thinking that it's the same pattern of drops of NOS. Each mob is flagged to drop one of the 4 overarching types of drops.
Going to assume such until we have /log loot data otherwise.

I've received several weapons (Finesse, power, bow) from the Final Fugue mission. Total of 2 bows, 2 power, 1 finesse so far.

That's consistent with the loot logs I've received. Realized I placed the wrong tag in the image above.

Previous expac raid gear is always better than current group gear, Wep ratios on group are better so more damage output on the group weps for sure

After about a dozen successes (not as many as most of you, I know), I've had 0 T3 items drop from the Hero's Forge mission. Is the drop rate just ridiculously low or am I farming this mission for no point? lol

In the time it took me to get a full set of LS type 5's via currency (and maybe 10-15 one off with PC runs), I got enough necks for everyone. That is "high" it seems (not the highest, seen a couple people get one every time we ran it), others are crazy (somebody reported 90 runs, not sure how true that is).

TLR RNG is a bitch.

The drop rates are ridiculously low for T3 drops in the missions.

I would say T3 are crazy low everywhere. All of my guys have their neck and we finished hunter with some T3 farming and only 1 out of 6 of my guys almost has a full set of T3…. I gave up and just plan on leaving everyone else in T2 until I get random drops to fill in the gaps.

I'm sort of in the same boat. I've got pretty much everyone in visible T3, incl weapons, but non-vis items seem impossible to get. I'm able to do pretty much everything I want to, so I am thinking I might just follow your plan and ignore them until they come in.

Yeah for sure. Aug ores have been the worst. I think through all of hunter and necklaces for all I have had 1 or 2 heroism ores drop… spent days at spiders and luggald with zero ore drops. Been super frustrating. Hence the leaving everyone in T2 and last years augs for now.

I got 1 each of the T3 in the last 2 final fugue missions. Maybe just a RNG fluke though.

Has anyone found any patterns or rhyme or reason to increase the odds of the Gallant pieces dropping? Do named mobs in T2 drop more pieces than named mobs in T1? I'm struggling to outfit my team, particularly with regards to certain pieces and the missions can only be run so often.

Not really. I still don't even have 1 toon fully geared (although I am not a hardcore grinder -- giggity) and I have all the group achieves done for the expansion on my entire main group. I'm still short 4 non-vis T3 pieces on my tank, which is what I gear first. It's asinine.

Maybe they made it like that so folks won't just be able to grind missions to gear themselves (and others), then go dormant until the next expac? I don't know. It's silly.
