Question - Latest Expansions

So I made it to 106 today and I have been successfully hunting in Lceanium and Scorched Woods. I was planning on moving on to FM and Droga as I have fond memories of massive wipes camping those dumb goblins and I can keep an eye on ancients. I have been taking this path because I remember an old EQ friend telling me before I quit last to stick to EOK for the augs. The question is, now that there are five expansions that came after EOK I am not sure the recommendation is still valid. Should I stay in EOK and farm the augs until 110 and move to RoS and TBL or just head up to those expansions and do lower content to farm stuff there? I have a group of SK, CLR, ENC, BER, ROG and BST in 105 gear from EoK and mostly Heroic augs, and I need to dress and aug all of them

Some would say FM till 110 and then consider hopping up to TOV till 115

Just what I have read. My team is still trying to hit 100.

Depends. Farm the augs for what purpose?

DO NOT USE MQ IN FM. It's a honeypot for getting reported. At 106, your best xp with that group is going to be RoS and TBL zones. If you really need augs to advance, that means you need currency which means you need to be farming the missions and heroic adventures in EoK. Grinding in FM is not going to get you currency for augs.

I don't believe I need the augs to advance as I am doing relatively well IMO. I am able to take named with no issues whatsoever and do all content I've tried. When I referred to augs I meant the ones dropped by named like the vertebrae from the skelli or the jawbone from the monkey. Thanks for the heads up on FM. I am in FV so I guess more chances someone would whine about it.
I will try my hand at RoS tomorrow

Skip FM. As in another reply, it is not a great place and leads to frequent petitions.

I would give Gorowyn a try. Trash can drop T5 augs, it’s good exp, the nameds can drop a 70ac power source and for your level it’s really nice. Then Eastern Wastes/Great Divide. I did those at 111 with the tank in snowbound armor.

I would hit ROS progression - its good exp for leveling up
TBL progression as well - I think whoever made the progression line on this expansion was having a bad acid trip. Its goofy

Up to level 110 Frontier Mountains is the best. But like the guy said be careful as you know what can happen.

Also you could go to Scorched woods which has also same EXP and spawn rate is just as fast now

EoK is not *good* xp past 105. It's easy content, but the gain rate is terrible compared to RoS and TBL.

I would give Gorowyn a try. Trash can drop T5 augs, it’s good exp, the nameds can drop a 70ac power source and for your level it’s really nice. Then Eastern Wastes/Great Divide. I did those at 111 with the tank in snowbound armor.

Gorowyn is a fair step up in difficultly though!

Thanks folks. I went the RoS way and got 110. Now I am stopping for AA and then off to TBL to get some snowbound. Most areas here, albeit buggy, are pretty empty.

Snowbound drops in ToV, not TBL.. so gonna be looking awhile
