Hi
I went over the kissassist docu but kinda miss some stuff.
Is there anything that Kissassist has that compare to pause/letsroll/follow/stop commands ?

Thing is i am kinda happy with my setup in modbot however the pulling behavior causes me some headache, so thought about using for my puller/tank kissassist while keeping the rest of my chars under Modbot atleast long enough till i fully understand Kiss.

I am aware that you can start kissassist with pullertank (assume thats for auto pulling/tanking?) manual (for mostly manual movement and targetting?) but is there a command like dopull to toggle btw those settings ?
Or how i would approach a pause>follow to change camps with Kiss?

for thew pause/follow just ensure all logged in EQBC and use /bcg //chaseon to start following and /bcg //chaseoff when youve got to new camp spot no real need to pause KA alth i think you can.

So for the pause i would need to make a Alias than in Macroquest.ini something along the line like /kapause=/bcaa //mqpause.

How you guys handle with KA Heroic Adventures ? is there a command to put Npcs(like the quest giver) on ignore from the game or would you need to edit the file each time you want to add/remove NPC with a editor ?
After zoning i assume KA is still working or will it need to be restarted ?

In the KissAssist_info.ini: (found in the macros folder near you kissassist_toonname.ini 's) each zone you enter puts an entry in this file. Find the zone your hunting in, and you can:

Rich (BB code):
1) MobsToPull=List up to 25 mobs. Can be partial names Macro example: rat, snake, bear or ALL for all mobs
2) MobsToIgnore=List up to 25 mobs. Use full names i.e. a green snake,a blue tiger,a wide eye ooze or NULL
3) MobsToBurn=List up to 10 mobs. Use full names i.e. Beget Cube,Helias,Raze or NULL
4) MezImmune=List up to 10 mobs. Use full names i.e. a green snake,a blue tiger,a wide eye ooze or NULL

This can be done for each zone, can be left undone, can be partially done, and/or changed anytime you wish to.

As in manual edit the ini file for each zone before you start Kiss ?
Or is there something like in modbot ala where u can //mb exclude ${Target.CleanName} or //mb include ${Target.CleanName} followed by //mb exclude save ,to update the ini file from in game.

I am more interested in how ppl use kissassist compare to modbot when it comes to zoning.
Let me give you a example how i handled it always with Modbot.
Started EQ once in game loaded modbot(while most functions are set to False) invited all chars to group, set Roles up and either i put everyone on follow and moved to a spot i wanted to go or went into a HA if i was loged at a Quest giver.
Once at the spot or zoned in the HA i either toggled all routines via letsroll command to True or if it was a area i wasnt yet in and had a target that i wanted to ignore i targeted the npc pressed my exclude hotkey and than did a letsroll command.
If i needed to move i gave the command to pause followed by follow command once i reached desired spot i gave the stop command followed by unpause command etc .
When i finished lets say a HA i had everyone of follow while modbot was paused and once i reached the npc that finishes the HA and send you back out i send stop command while modbot was still paused and told the npc on all chars the leave keyword.
Once all zoned out modbot was still paused.

So i would like to know how ppl with kiss handle a HA since Kiss doesnt have a pause function(?) just to understand the process you guys use as in maybe ending the mac before leaving a HA.

Kiss can be paused with /mqp or //bcga //mqp if you want them all paused. It is a toggle.
My "follow" command /bcg //stick id ${Me.ID} uw
Stop follow /bcg //stick id ${Me.ID} off

run macroquest2 , run EQBC , connect all toons using /bccmd connect

on MA create the following socials
A. line1 /bcg //target MAname Line2 /bcg //mac kissassist line3 /target myname Line4 /mac kissassist pullertank ( change line 4 to suit your setup) this starts Kiss on all group
b /bcg chaseon makes all toons follow MA
c /bcg chaseoff makes all toons stop following

There is also a macro somewhere on Redguides called Fullauto which will invite all toons to grp and start ka on all toons

You can also add mobs to ignore ingame, sadly i can never remember the syntax

I miss using modbot. I maintained my own version for years. :) Kiss is quite a bit easier to understand, and much easier to use out of the box. I do miss /bc follow me, and /bc stop, /bc buffup, /bct someone doloot on, /bc holdup, /bc letsroll... Maybe we can bribe Maskoi to make some sort of modbot user transition commands... :) All I do now is /bca //target mytoon, /bcaa //follow, and when I get where I am going, /bcaa //mac kissassist... I never took the time to figure out how to use the chase settings. I turned it off, and they always ran back to camp... It drove me nuts the first few times I tried to use Kiss, and I always ended up back at modbot... Now, I use kiss for group stuff, and box the hard way on raids.

I used ModBot for a long time, and it was a pain in the ass to set up for my group. Took me months to get the 6 box running the way I wanted them to, but the sheer number of things you could customize in your modbot ini files is amazing. Once I started using Kiss I never went back to ModBot personally, and I probably wouldn't since I have over time lost my ini files for MB.

Well after slowly getting used to Kiss and honestly should had just played around with it first.i must say the hardest part was the first time setting up the ini and not fully understanding it but than again it was the same with modbot.

I like KISS and yes that its simple is its strength allot of functions are already build in the mac without the need to add scripts in the ini like you would do in Modbot.

And like Jimbob mentioned i kinda miss some of the modbot's commands too , mainly just /mb buffup /mb letsroll as in you started the mac without any functions > than when in a ok spot enabled the buffing and than finally you activated the whole macro.

Im still a relatively new user but +1 for this thread! I've avoided using the EBC commands but now that I'm trying to move my party around dungeons more it seems like I cant avoid it. I was struggling with agro while I was moving 1 box around at a time. If using EQBC will prevent me from having to turn off kissassist every time I want to move I'll be learning how to use it this weekend.
