I've been slaughtering all the Nameds in the courtyard of HoT and noticed that the Burn Named isn't firing (yes its set).

It will echo out that it recognized the mob as a named and the trigger the burn. My guess is it is not recognizing that particular NPC as a named and that you have to do it manually.

Yes not all named follow the same syntax that allows MQ2 to recognize them. Just add them to the [zone] in the kissassist_info.ini file

Not sure if this is Kiss issue but at random it will fire exp recovery and staunch recover I have check both Kiss ini and servername ini and nothing in either has that.

Ok, will add them to the INI. I was seeing the NAMED msg tho.

Also, when using the /addpull cmd, it will pick up (and save) corpses.

If you can get a debug log of your tank when he keeps targeting himself. I can't get my warrior to do what your's is doing. A log will help me trace down where this might be happening.

My war targeting itself during endurance med hasn't happened again. I believe it was because it was not the MA, had another tank who was, and THAT tank had a corpse targeted. IF it happens again, I will try to catch it and log it.

One of the things we can do for testing is use KA9 as we normally would, in daily activities, and day-to-day situations to see how it performs.

I decided to camp the Dusty Soriz Pouch for me bardess since we are not of the level to get the Huntsman Quiver. It's a long run. I wanted to use KA so I didn't have to manually deal with any gray aggro along the way. It gets harder for me the more toons I run so KA to the rescue.

I noticed I had to hit /returncamp in order for the /chase toggle to work. I also noticed that the /looton toggle does not persist to the INI and therefore is not picked up by Ninja. The more toons I run, the harder it is to stop the mac, adjust the INI, and restart the mac. In a real-content scenario it could be problematic (read - deaths).

Pullertank in Ssra with MQ2Nav worked real well (as I wanted to mass train). I don't know what the checks are, but me tank would start out after a mob that was say 250 out but in reality 1000 feet of running (MQ2Nav), get part of the way and decide not to and run back to camp. I like it. Prolly just luck, but IF we did something to improve the unrealistic pulls (MQ2Nav) it is working.

I have not had a chance to continue with AdvPath, its on the list.

Got back to testing AdvPath.

/record and ran my path. Got to end of my path and /record save [name] 30. Ran back to my camp and launched KA /mac KA9 Pullertank path [name].

Puller did not move for some time, saw msgs Looking for Close Range Mobs and CastRadius is now set to: 15 alternately.

Waiting a couple of cycles, it targets a mob and runs to what looks like first waypoint (advpath gives a msg Playing Path: [name] - then Stopped). Puller goes back to camp empty handed. I have MaxRadius set to 2000. During the CastRadius and Looking for cycle I will occasionally see Mob is OOR after targeting: Trying Again.

Puller does not run path, and only occasionally picks up what looks like first WP, and that after targeting a mob.

Tried /mac KA9 Puller path [name] with same result (not PullerTank). At KA launch, it does recognize the path FYI, mentions sonme 55 waypoints. I saw the odd Added alert for: (0-115) any ID: 12674.

Not sure how I could be gremlining this... I think it brokie!

Can you draw or describe what your path looks like?

If it overlaps, it won't run. If it's in a loop, it won't run.

Go in a line, and at the end, save it. Don't return to camp.

Another tip:

/plugin mq2advpath unload
/plugin mq2advpath

Just to clear any weirdness. Then try running it without KA. (helps if you're a rogue)

/play pathname

I'll be making a video when we get the other advpath bugs sorted, but in the meantime thanks for testing and keep it up!

My path looked like a step wave (O Scope reference), straight a bit, 45 ° left and straight a bit, 45 ° right and straight a bit, 45 ° right and straight a bit, and finally 45 ° left and straight a bit. No overlapping, no looping. Unloaded and reloaded plugin to no avail.

Path shows on map when in use, and from the AdvPath UI 'plays' fine.

I see this periodically now, even when not using AdvPath, on different toons: some with Throw Stone, some with Archery, one with Shissar Fangs (Soriz Pouch) and in the case above PullWith=Melee. When I was camping the Soriz Pouch in Ssra Temp Throw Stone did not seem to work, used it many times before since it doesn't consume ammo. I blew it off at the time since puller would get in range to aggro so no harm no foul.

Tried not running back to camp after saving thus launching KA from end of path (which is odd since my assist is way back at camp) and nothing changed. This time I saved a perfectly straight path, prolly 500-750 feet. I never went back to camp...

Oddly, nothing: shows [MQ2AdvPath] Playing Path: [name] and [MQ2AdvPath] Stopped.

I tried /play [name] from a ways away from camp and it played the path from nearest WP then to camp. Seems it is running in reverse (I do not have Reverse checked on UI, and UI was not loaded during this last test). Maybe we have to record the path in reverse: start at end, record to camp, save, launch KA. lemme try that real quick.

Seems to me that it will only consider the path if it finds a mob, and THEN tries the path to make the mob fit, or check if it does. And then, only to the first WP.

Is it possible that with a MaxRadius of that size you are getting LOS issues on you pull as its trying to find mobs WAY out of pull range? Have you tried a MaxRadius of like 100, or 150 while making your path run closer to the mobs?
Have you checked you kissassist_info file to make sure the mobs in that zone that you are trying to pull aren't set as do not pull, or if you have a mob set under the mobs to pull section that isn't near you?

Sure, I forgot to mention I reduced it to 150 for part of the test for that very reason.

Yep, used KA in this zone before, tons of orcs, and 'orc' is all that is in the MobsToPull. There is only one MobsToIgnore and that is a NPC guard that has a name that includes orc (don't ask).

Now I could be completely mistaken on how KA is using AdvPath. I figure it should work like this: KA runs the path looking for mobs that match whatever criteria. What it could be doing in actuality is searching for mobs first, then internally (programmatically) deciding whether said mob is within x dist from y WP. It's possible that it will only run the path if it decides that yes, it passes certain criteria. From 30k feet, that would 'appear' broken to me, make sense?

Lemme move my camp and see if I can force different behavior.

You need to make sure you can run advpath without ka before you run it with ka, otherwise it's an advpath bug (which exist, but let's not mix it up with ka)

I'm running advpath pull with a few minor bugs in KA, some very annoying ones, but it's good enough to level and AA to 105.

It didn't work for me, I went back to 8.5.5 until it was all set and using my custom pull scripts until then.

9.0.6 works great for me. I ran into the issue where the toon hits the edge of camp, I move my camp a few feet away and that issue goes away. Not sure why, but it fixes it. I also LOVE how nav pulling is working right now! Kudos Mask and CT!

the line changes above are not needed, this was my fault for making a looping path. That was the only issue.

I may be slightly retarded in the brain, but this line alone helped me set up an amazing pull path (on TLP nonetheless)

I had no idea the path could not be a loop back to camp. Lesson learned, glad I scanned this thread again.

Edit: Uh oh, puller isn't returning to the camp. Anyone have advice off hand? I'm messing with my settings in the meantime
Edit2 More info: /play pathname works perfectly well, Returntocamp=1 on the puller too.

Is there a way to get my sk to pick up mobs from my ranger quicker? Sometimes he snaps agro, other times he waits doing nothing and then grabs it after like 10-15 seconds, other than that I love KA

driike, might want to create a new thread, yours will get lost in this one. Sometimes I have seen this when running on an old laptop (basically lag causes inconsistent behavior). Also, where you place your toons in camp can have a baring. Put the SK right next to the ranger, start SK as Tank, that oughta solve it.

Plus make sure your SK is MA and not assisting the puller. Never assist off a pure Puller.

laptop is maybe a year old asus rogue gaming laptop and doesn't always happen, maybe once out of every 5 or 6 pulls and so far i've luckily been at the computer every time its happened so far so i can usually recover the mishap pretty quick with weap shield on the ranger and a quick heal or two to him from my clr, by then the tank usually has agro

From what you listed everyone is targeting the SK, including the SK.

Now start your SK just out from your group, say 15 units. Start your Ranker(puller) just behind your SK(tank). Set your SK's Meledistance to like 70, and his campradius to 35. Now set your rangers meleedistance to like 80, and campradius to 35. Now make sure both of them have ReturntoCamp=1.

This is how I have my Tank and puller setup and it is very rare that my tank ever hesitates on incoming mobs.
