Question - KissAssist not backstabbing

Hi all,

I tried searching and found very little but I just started a rogue and kiss assist isn't using backstab while meleeing. Is there a setting I can add to enable this? I have tried putting it in the dps section of the ini file and nothing so far. Any and all help would be appreciated.

If you don't already have mq2melee, /plugin mq2melee /melee backstab=1 /melee save

Ok I did that and restarted MQ still no backstabbing happening. What else should I be doing?

mq2melee is a plugin that helps out with the tedious parts of playing a melee character (chain clicking bash etc)


Type /melee plugin=1 /melee save

After eq/mq is running for a while, certain skills like backstab always stop working for me. I have to restart eq for them to work again. I've never been able to pinpoint the cause, but it always happens after 6-8 hours of play.

How many clients are you running on the same machine? Are you running kiss the whole time or is this even without any macros running?

i use 4-6 clients, all of them using mq/ka, and it happens even without ka. maybe something in the melee plugin

I actually stopped using KA on my zerker because volley, axe of line and opfrenzy line are always delayed they do not fire right away even if you put them in the ini for KA and you turn them on in mq2melee and I have no idea why there is a delay like savage volley will be ready for 5-6 seconds before it uses it again and you're losing dps there.

What do you use for your Zerker? I have the same issue with KA/Melee, and it drives me nuts the amount of dps I lose.

I use af_ber its on the mq2 site in the VIP section. I haven't updated it for VOA/ROF yet but not much to update since most of the disc are just upgrades of previous ones.

This just happened to me - mq2melee decided to stop doing abilities for my rogue + bard.

I'm doing some testing myself.

Nope, it's not GetTickCount() - I quit EQ and restarted, and everything worked well. I'll see if I can get it to happen again.

Yeah, this is still my #1 gripe with mq2. I use multiple archetypes on each of my accounts, and (apparently) every time i switch from melee to tank or vice versa, they lose so many of their skills.
