Question - Kissassist has an offtank role?

was just playing around while doing some combines and found out that KA has an offtank role setting. I didnt know this lol. Ive used it on a beastlord and pulled multiples and it doesnt seem to do anything other than assist. Am I doing something wrong?

Offtank role in KA is designated for "next in line" tanking.
Toon 1 - MA
Toon 2 - Offtank

Toon 1 dies, Toon 2 sends commands over kiss, adjusts himself to MA, and people assist him.

Always found the name kinda funny myself, since it doesn't have anything to do with offtanking, but there you have it.

ah ok ty for clarifying wouldnt happen to know of any setting /macro etc that would help with off tanking? something like the healer takes aggro, ranger could step in and tank until the MainTank can take over?

Yes, it's called crowd control. Prevents the need to off-tank...look up bard or enchanter

yea, have a bard, only have the single target mez at the moment, so if I get 3 or more mobs.....kinda need a off tank.

No real offtank macros that have been posted here unfortunately. Would be super nice to have though, not all mobs can be CCd

Yea, the OffTank role is more of a BuchupTank role.
