How does the pet toy section for mages work? Will it summon the items and give to pets automatically or what? If so how does it work with the newer toys such as weapons that come in a bag that you must expand first? Also what inventory slot?
 
The pets toy section is beta but it will give the pet everything in a bag and you need 1 open top inventory slot if summoning bags

Do i need to set up something in the buff section to actually make the item or is it supposed to summon it and give it to the pet just by having it in the pet toy section. Also I am concerned with how it works when you have the higher ranking weapons that create a bag that you must then click to make the actual bag with the weapons in it. How do I get that to work because it would need to know the spell that creates the bag with the weapon I want, then it would have to expand the bag to get the weapon and finally delete the other weapons in the bag afterward to prevent future problems.

Also, Any update on if/when the clicky nukes Icebound Silver & Frostrift Silver will work? I know others have posted about this as well but it still seems broken. I can get it to summon the wand "Summoned: Frostrift Silver" but it wont use it in the DPS rotation with the command "Summoned: Frostrift Silver|97". Lower Ranks that used items such the "Blazing Orb" did work however mentioned before the newer spells arnt working.
 
I don't know about your first question, but as for the second: It's Sliver, not Silver.

I just tested Summoned: Frostrift Sliver|95 and it worked perfectly.

1. Can you only have 2 mana conditions? Tried using Large Mod Shard + Gather + Mod Rod and it seems to only want to use 2 of the 3.

2. Still trying to get pet toys to work. I used

and it does summon the bag of weapons however it needs to be expanded to get to the weapons, once you click on the Folded Pack of Frightforged Armaments it turns into a Pouch of Quellious and has 10 weapons in it.

Mana should work on as many as you put in. check your spelling and % mana you have them at that. Post your buff section.

Suggestion: For the DPS lineup it would be nice if the casting followed a priority system. So as it goes through the list DPS1, DPS2, DPS4, DPS5... etc it would always try to recast the previous spells before going to the next with exception to if it was on cooldown, if it was already on the target (ie: Debuff/Dot). Doing this would really help to maximize DPS. I notice with the current system that even though I have the spells listed in order of importance and with the percentage of life to cast at... they constantly cast out of order and as such my DPS varies quite a bit. Anyhow, just a suggestion.
 
Recently, i've been having problems with some KA characters not resuming action after they've died/been rezed. I'm using the latest compile and ka 6.5. This wasnt occuring 2-ish weeks ago. However, other KA characters resume their activities after death. where should i begin to diagnose the problem?
 
The character i noticed who had the problem was a 100 bl; no invis is involved...he's also designated as puller and looter, if that helps. The character who DOES work is a 85 bot mage that i'm pl'ing; after he dies/rezes, he goes through his buffs just like normal with no problems.
 
any updates on this, maskoi? or any reason why my characters camp to character select when they die, instead of desktop to save their rez timer?

Is there a way to keep a campfire going? I've noticed some code for it and it seems it can be called with /campfire, but I just want it to always be there no matter what. And a follow up question, can a specific campfire be used?

Did you find the solution, Mask? I'm still having the problem, and if someone else's beast is doing the same thing, i wouldnt think its a problem with the specific ini. Thanks!
 
I killed my group a lot but wasn't able to duplicate the issue. I was on my level 80 group though not my 100s. I will be working on kiss all week so will try see if i can pinpoint the issue.

I kind of have something similar.

I box a cleric, and he almost never accepts rez. When I manually tab over to accept it, he just stands around. I've made sure I have the accept rez feature turned on, and everyone else in my party accepts the rez instantly. I even manually added the rez line to the character ini file in the MQ default folder, still no luck.

When I manually rez the cleric, I also have to restart the macro or he'll just sit there about 70% of the time, wont mount, won't do anything.

My other issue is, and maybe it's related, my other 2 classes, who use mounts, rarely when they rez, they won't remount for a long time, if at all, but they will resume all other activity.

Oh, also, maybe I'm missing something, but how do I make my puller stop pulling if there are dead people? I've witnessed a total group wipe with this. I have group watch turned on for all characters.
 
when I run the macro as such:

/mac kissassist petassist <tankname> 97

my necro never sends in the pet, am I missing something here?

petassist is really for beastlords in a caster group so they don't melee and just cast spells and send in their pets. Just use assist on a necro and you should be good. Also make sure PetOn=1
 
i have noticed this when my grp dies (on named) they rez with the named still in target wont buff or do anything maybe untill that target is dead but i just restart kiss. hope that helps ya maskoi
its like they need to rez and reset target then re start combat if ma is still fighting

the is another thing that seems to pause kiss. axe of the brute|summon|axe of the brute|200 when i run out of components and the macro is running it will spam the spell. but if you start kiss and dont have components it will attack a few mobs then just stop still and do nothing.
but that has nothing to do with rez.

Ok I set it to 98 and it is working, so do I have to play around with the number? What is the macro looking for to fire that thing off?
 
the cleric epic works off of total group health not single target health I have mine at 75

I thought i had hard coded it for single health. I will do that next version
 
A couple of questions.
A manual /camp sometimes logs my toons all the way out to the desktop and sometimes to the character select screen. Is there a setting somewhere for that?


I have my AFKTools enabled and set to 750. Last night another player logged in on a cliff a few hundred feet above me on the Z axis and around 250 on the X. AFK Tools didn't alert and pause the macro. I then ran up onto the hill where this other player was and it paused. Should the macro be scanning Z distance?

Have I mentioned lately how amazing KISS is?
 
Camping has no setting. Sometimes it will crash on regular camp its because of the way SOE changed the way EQ handles memory.

Kiss doesn't handle the zradius MQ2Posse does. I will have sym look at the mq2posse zradius. It probably has a built in setting but I don't know what it is.

/posse zradius # :: Sets check zradius to # (ex: /posse zradius 30).

Default is 30.
 
Is there a way to set a puller role to only pull a specific list of mobs, and ignore all others?
