your syntax is wrong just put the item or spell. Kiss only recognizes item where ever they are. Can't see bags or slots.

Thanks for the speedy response. While on the subject of Magicians then, when it comes to putting pet toys on, what does your .ini look like? Say for example you die, and respawn and begin rebuffing. Does your mage cast the level 93 spells Grant Manaforged Armaments, and take out the specific armor/ weapons for your pet listed in the file? Or do you need to pre-summon a few sets of each item you want to place on your pet in the event you or it dies. I have a pet focus appropriate for my level, and know it does something for summoned pets besides increasing it's level (I think it gives it armor at summon?) but usually go through the process of summoning armor, giving it to pet, summon haste mask, give to pet, summon weapon pack, pick 2 for pet, etc.. because I wasnt sure how the macro read this, I just add pet toys to my file. I don't AFK macro, just read online stuff while playing EQ and running kissassist, so I can manually do this if needed (and/ or isn't possible for kissassist to do at the moment), but was curious if it did it all.

Same problem is happening. My Earthen Gird is in my top left inventory bag, and won't cast when buffing. MQ2 will echo "Casting Earthen Gird" over and over but can't/ won't cast it unless its in an open inventory slot.

Okay, running Kiss (PullerTank option) on my BST. Everything will work as intended for a short while. I have remade my ini file and use the one for BST's on the forums (updated for my spell lvls) and same issue still. I have tried turning buffs off, turning dps off ect ect to try and find what is making it fail, even making him pull with Melee. The only way i can get kiss to function properly after a fail (constantly 'Looking for close range mob') is to relog my account, setup again and wait for it to fail again. I watached today to see at what point it is failing and came across this message in the MQ2 window - 'Added alert for: (0-110) any' - then he stopped pulling and looting. I can manual target something and the program will act like nothing is wrong and continue to work as its suppose to, then stop until I target again. Any suggestions?

I am having the exact same problem. I downloaded the new compile this morning with the hopes that it would cure my problems, but no such luck. After my pullertank pulls a few mobs he just sits there spamming Looking for mobs in range. If I manually target a mob he will pull that mob, then go back to looking for a mob in range. No difference in 20130517a or 20130520 compile.
Any suggestions?


EDIT!!!!! So I changed from warrior "pullertank" to cleric "puller" just to see if it was the warrior. Cleric pulled for about an hour and then started doing the same thing: "PULLING-> Waiting 10 seconds for mobs to respawn." Entire camp has respawned. I changed the max radius in kiss to 500 instead of 300 and restarted kiss. The cleric targeted a mob in another camp on the other side of my camp and ran right through aggroing the whole camp. So for some reason kiss is not seeing new mobs that spawn. So, kiss is not refreshing the mobs to pull list?

Okay, so after noticing something I figured out my problem. MQ2 would say upon loading it (I load MQ2 after logging toons into game) "MQUI_BagWnd.xml found, please reload UI" or something to that effect. I never did, and because of that I guess KissAssist was unable to click stuff in my bags. Once I reloaded UI everything was peachy. So yeah, stuff in bags is getting clicked now!

Side Note: Wouldn't mind hearing about the mage pet stuff still =p Do you manually give your pet weapons and gear and such, or does KissAssist handle it all for you as well.

Tried with 3 different accounts but it still appears that KISS is not seeing new mobs that spawn after the macro is started.

Mobs not listed in ignore or rez immune. But I noticed a "Mobs to Burn" list that I have never seen. They are not listed there. Will run group and /debugpull after he stops pulling now.

I have the same issue. My z is set to 100 and I've loaded the NAV plugin. Much like others it's not seeing new mobs, but what's odd is if I go somewhere else in same zone it may pull for a good 90 minutes before stopping. It's a kick ass macro, but not sure why its not reading the new mobs which would really rock. Speaking of, is it possible after you've died to set a character to try to campfire back in (10-15 minutes later) and try to Rez corpses...which also means a routine to keep a campfire burning....

debug returned two names on the ignore list that are in range and 8 "Null". Each is a separate line item. Then went back to waiting 10 seconds for mob to respawn. I took screen shots and will try to get more info to you tomorrow. Perhaps through PM's so I don't have to rub out names.

Did more testing tonight and I am still having the same problem.

I tried 4 different pullers that all worked last week, in three different zones. I even took a puller to Kobold camp in Steamfont so it would be flat ground, and I was wondering if it was related to the new mapping of the newer expansions. Same problem. After 2 pulls the puller did not see mobs that were in range the whole time and stopped pulling. He just sat there waiting on mobs to respawn before he even cleared one camp. I then manually targeted a mob and he pulled and killed, then went back to looking while there was clearly a mob in range and clear LOS. /debugpull just said waiting on respawn this time. It did not list mobs as NULL per my post above.

There is something wrong with the mq2 source code from the last patch that seems to be causing this. I am in the middle of moving so i have no time this right now to look into this much.

Is there a way to stop the toons from automatically keeping themselves a certain distance off the ground? I am trying to pull over water and I have levi on. The puller will always run into and down when he gets to water and then he stops, says line of sight issue and turns back. I looked in the mac and put a pipe before the zchecks but that didn't help much. I still have issues that cause him to run into the water like a retard. I also hate that he runs into trees and doesn't try to go around them. I read something about a new Eqnav thing here but I don't know what or how to use that. He still seems to want to look down and then run to pull and going down into the pond. The issue is I'm camping mobs that pop around this pool so I can't just move somewhere else. Here's a list of zchecks I put a pipe in front of, I blocked them all but he still looks down at some mobs dispite being an arseling and then is looking down when he goes to pull again.

IF THERE IS NO OTHER FIX, you might try pulling with a toon that does not melee and turn face mob off. That way the toon should not look down that causes you to sink.

Use mq2navigation. You need to down load and install the meshes then /plugin mq2navigation and kiss will automatically switch over to mq2nav pulling mode.

Just started using this again recently - I would swear there used to be an option where if I set up a puller, and it tried to pull something and couldn't get line of sight, it would edge up over and over until it was able to tag the NPC. Was this removed, or am I on crack and remembering incorrectly?

I thought so too, I put LoSFailOn=0 so he will keep trying but it doesn't work like it used to, or just water messes stuff up. Is there an eq mesh for elddar forest?

Couple days ago kissassist stopped looting all together. I have tried /looton to turn it on and off a few times. Tried reloading macro. Made sure inventory wasnt full. Kinda stumped on this. Also checked .ini files to ensure looton=1. Anything I can do to try fixing this problem? or at the very least collect info about it to share?

Open your loot.ini file and change mobstoclose to 10 mobstoclose=10

9 out 10 times that solves it.

when i downloaded new compile for eqnav i opened it and i get " the program can't start because MSVCR100D.dll is missing from your computer. I have no idea what that means or what I can do to fix it, if it's a windows problem or what. I hope it's not a BTKAC problem, as noobhax says.. I downloaded the mesh packs though so those are in the folder..

Or possible to make a bard puller use mez to pull when its a group of 2 + mobs? Warrior to auto AE taunt when more than 1 mob is pulled?

For the bard fading, that is something you'd really want mq2melee to handle, and not a macro. Plugins have a much faster reaction time than massive macros like kiss.

This is the downshit I use on my bard, here is the logic behind it written out, so you can see how it works and change it to how you'd like it.

it makes sure he's in combat(mob aggroed),
that there is a mob within 10 of him,
and that he has enough mana,
is below 30% hp,
fading memories is ready(it's never not ready this is just fool proofing)
and he is running a macro (I don't like not having total control of my characters when I am playing them by hand.)

If all those are true he casts fade.
Also I use this as a downshit because my bard never goes into melee, if yours does it's be a holyshit.

Is there a pause feature to kissassist? Similar to when MA is not in zone, the macro pauses and resumes once you and MA are together again. I was looking for the section in your macro that all that happens in, but must have missed it.
Would just be nice to /kissassistpause and /kissassistresume or something when I need to run and target an NPC to hail, without it autotargetting my group's mobs over and over =p
