KissAssist Release KissAssist 4.0 Updated 09/02/2011

Any ideas about why an aura would be cast/refresh in the guild lobby but not out while fighting? My chanter is keeping learner's aura and reiteration aura up in the lobby but only learner's aura while doing HoT instances.
 
Mana Reiteration Aura Rk. II is another whacko spell. Sometimes the aura is there sometimes its not depending on how the spells procs or something. I only have 75 chanter so I am not sure exactly how the mechanics of this aura works. I have to look into it more and figure out what i need to hard to handle it. Look for it next version.
 
Ya it's a super retarded way that they made it work.

Aura that triggers 3 ticks of a 6 charge nuke proc into the song window...

Really dumb, and half the time the puller is OOR of the next proc. Really like the macro, though. Maybe these calluses will go away from not having to alt-tab every 2 seconds now :p
 
I might have to hard code that one to look in the aura window instead of the song window.
 
95% of the time you don't cast something it means its spelled wrong. Like you don't have an Rk. II but its in the ini file as an Rk. II version. So check to make sure you have the correct versions and they are spell right in the ini file.

AssistAt=100 make that 98
Delete Frost Gift Rk. II|90 from DPS its a heal.

There was an issue with chase not turning off, My Bad muwhahahaha, I ninja uploaded a revised version but didn't change the version or anything so download the new one.

And yes might be advantageous to rename your shammy ini file and start over referencing the one I posted.

I have found the issue, Maskoi. You will laugh at this one. The writers at Sony left a typo into the spell Healing Counterbias Rk. II. They left out the PERIOD. One period was causing KissAssist not to work. Goodness gracious, damn you Sony. The good news, is it's working amazingly flawless now.

Quick two questions though, is there anyway to make you stick closer to people when stuck on them either by /stick or chase assist. Guess that refers to MQ2Moveutils as well.
Also with MQ2 Melee or KissAssist, my character is having trouble making circles around mobs in tight spaces, is there anyway to tighten up the radius of that? Or is !front the best option?

ChaseDistance is how close/far you follow the MA and snap roll rear runs thru the mob instead of circling

Very strange setup on your Mage, but if it's working for you that's great. I don't understand your DPS section. Are you not saving your cooldown AA's for harder mobs/bosses and just trying to cast them asap to maximize dps. Also I see your using Searing Skin, but why do you have no nukes in your DPS rotation?

Other than that everything else looks good. Do you have one for a 90 Mage?

Well since I got a level 90 enchanter and I recently worked on making a downshit for Mana Recursion Aura... here's how I did it codewise. (NOTE: I made it similar to the cleric two auras onto one spell gem setup so ignore the learner's aura bits those are just there to prevent it from getting caught in a loop of switching between spell gems).

For Mana Reiteration Aura you'd be better off looking at ${Me.Aura[Mana Recursion Aura Rk. II]} rather than ${Me.Song[Mana Reiteration II]} due to the way it works (in fact I would think this would be the preferred way to check if your aura is up because auras tend to be centered around the caster and always goto the auras window)

The Aura seems to cast a short duration buff that gives you mana reiteration II which lasts 20 some seconds (maybe 4 ticks) and works for 6 casts. The Aura recasts this about every 12 seconds.

Another quirk with this Aura is that it seems to have a much shorter duration than other Auras. While other auras seem to last 30 minutes or more. This one seems to last maybe 5 minutes before it needs to be recast.

I have to say I was a bit nervous about switching from MQ2Melee automation to KissAssist but it works so much better :D

It's a lvl 79 mage in a box of 3 mages that I am only working on AFK AA/leveling. The anti summoning nuke is all that's needed for katta mobs. They die so fast with 3 mages that only 1 cast is sufficient.

Once I hit 81 I will actively start running around not afk and doing shitty ass progression for mercs and some gear.

What is the correct setup for SK Lifetaps, I've tried several different methods and can't figure out what I'm doing wrong here.
 
The lifetaps didn't make it into heals for 4.0 so just drop them into dps for now. Will be available as heals in 4.1
 
Any idea why puller wont pull anything? Was working fine when I was in katta but when I moved to Thalassius just ignores any mob in pull radius.

check your pull section in ini file for radius and z radius if it is hilly area might need to increase MaxZRange to 100 or 150. mobs also need to be line of sight won't pull things it can't see.

I am in a level room with no los obstructions with mobs at about 25-50 away from camp. Puller will just say no valid target in range even tho I tested the positioning by manually pulling them myself to make sure there are no los issues.
 
I am thinking its the , in [Thalassius, the Coral Keep] comma always seem to fuck shit up

I am also seeing the pulling part act a little funky on occasion. I was testing it in the bat room in forgotten halls. Sometimes there would be bats flying all around my toon and it would go into the 30 sec wait once or twice. It would spot the very same bats after that and go to town on them. I tried this with the info ini listing "all" and another time with "bat".

It's not a big deal really... so my character waits an extra minute here and there while I'm making lunch or something. If I'm sitting at the screen and don't want to wait, I'll pull my own damn bat.

One other item I've seen is my puller-tank will sometimes start looting while he is being beat on by a mob. He'll ignore the mob until he has finished looting all the corpses. I just put my shaman on loot as a work around.

Two little bugs that do nothing to hurt my game play in a really awesome macro... thanks Maskoi. I'm having a blast using this thing.

Bats sounds like they are on a zaxis try increasing your zmaxrange under [Pull] see if that fixes it.

In your loot.ini file what is your the MobsTooClose=20 set too? if it is smaller that 30 change it 50 or 100 and that should stop the looting while any mobs are in that radius.

Never coded any type of cure. i am not 100% sure on the mechanics. I need an example. What exactly do you want cure. Zone mob spell?
 
Ahh, I was just thinking about how you replaced Shambot with KissAssist, and now I finally realize why. KissAssist is much more versatile, accurate, and responsive. Especially 4.0, I absolutely love it. I just recall Shambot having an autocure feature, ex. poisons, magic, corruption. Radiant Cure handles them all, was just wondering if you think that may be something that you would add in the future. Even though I know it's not anywhere near the top priority.
 
Shambot only cured with a /tell cure. I will be looking into curing. Shouldn't be too hard but who knows not promising anything.
 
something where the characters track debuff effects on them for ones with counters and /tell cure "this counter type(s)" ?
 
kissassist will never communicate in game. The cure would be something like the healer gets debuffed and casts a group type cure or an event that recognize a certain spell was cast and healer casts cure

doh. MobsTooClose was set to 10. Sorry for the brain fart.

I barely played over the weekend so I haven't had a chance to check on the zaxis with the bats yet. I can tell you it was set at 50 though. I'll give it another shot later today.

u can try Ancestral Covenant|Mana|90|20 in dps and it should work...but even that in buffs should cast in combat....
