Currently running 2 groups of characters via kissassist. I do not put them in a raid as I'm not max level yet. Using group 2 as oUT of group dps.
The problem I'm running into is getting group#2 to assist group #1 initially.
I want both groups to assist off of the same MA. I started noticing seemingly random instances of group2 just sitting there doing nothing. Then noticed that most pulls they would do nothing at all.
After toying around in ini settings for a while getting frustrated I finally noticed the issue. Group 2, or any character outside of the main group with KA running, won't attack an npc that they are not "in combat" with, aka not in their Xtar window. If group2 happens to get aggro, everything works just fine.
I've been working around this with a hot key that makes my wiz in group2 assist my MA via eqbcs and click their Flux staff to gain aggro for the group. Easy fix when group2 is actually grouped. But sometimes I split them up if they steal xp from group 1. Much more annoying to have to make a hot key for every character not in groups1just to get them assisting.
I'm sure this is "working as intended", but was wondering if there was an easier work arround. Would like to just be able to chain pull into my 2 groups without constantly hitting hot keys for group2.
