Version of KissAssist.mac?
12.001
When did your problem start?
06/13/20
Character Role?
  1. Tank
What class is having this issue?
  1. Bard
  2. Berserker
  3. Cleric
  4. Magician
  5. Shadow Knight
  6. Shaman
How often does this issue occur?
Always
So I'm very new at using this (past couple of days) I have SK, cleric, bard, mage, zerker and sham setup. I get all the toons loaded setup to run kiss assist with SK targeted (hes tank) loaded ini for each lvl 1 toons. Kiss assist fails telling me to target tank and retry (tanks already targeted and doesn't appear to accept Sk as the tank.) I have had a few instances where zerk will help attack and cleric will do some very minor healing (usually SK goes splat) but all other toons do nothing. I went back in and added the SK role=tank and still says to target tank and retry. Seems the none of the other toons function as they normally would if they were player played. Im sure Im doing something wrong but I can't for the life of me figure out what.

when you start kissassist, how are you starting it?

this is how i do it

on my tank i would target myself and do /mac kissassist tank
on my others I would target the tank and do /mac kissassist assist 98

later on you can get fanc ywith something like:

(this requires having your SK set to maintank in the group window before hitting the social hotkey)
/mac kissassist tank
/bcg //mac kissassist ${Group.MainTank} 98

so the easiest way to do this, and i suggest this as the primary method for starting kiss:

1. Create Social key named KA Assist MA
2. Put this line in it /mac kissassist assist ${Group.MainAssist.Name}
3. Set your SK Tank to the group role main assist

now whenever you need to start KA, you just hit that button and they will allways know to assist the groups Mainassist.

Ok I tried the 2 simple ones you listed and the only toon that worked in conjunction with the SK was again the zerker. Bard, mage, cleric and sham did nothing but watch.

then that likely means they don't have anything in their kiss ini? did you put in abilities in their dps and heal sections?

Do to not wanting to figure all the individual commands out I used files from the .ini section and loaded them in for lvl 1 toons in their respective classes. So they do have info in there but going to be honest I didn't actually look to see what is in them.

If you are doing a cut an past of the ini files here at RG, into you character ini file. You are using a striped down part of an ini file. Did you try to rerun KissAssist once the ini file has been copied over? Check and go through the new copied ini and make sure that the switches are set right. Like if DPS is on or Heals is turned on. It could be that even though the copy has been added and you redid the macro to fill in the missing stuff, the setting might still be set to off and you need to turn them back on.
