Question - Kiss and dannet

I have been trying to get kissassist to use different channels with dannet. What is the correct format? it says

DanNetOn

0/1/2|Channel

but when I put "DanNetOn=1|1" it does not use channel 1. I created channel 1 before I started the mac. my characters are in channel 1, yes it still announces to all.

Shouldn't your channel have a name name? Not just 1 2 3 etc?

I tried using a name but it tells me it has to be numeric
