Katta Mission (Orum and faction)

Starts with Sorcerer Hearah in Katta, just "/say fire" to get quest (need at least 3 toons in group). zone into Thalassius (i always have a toon parked near zone in, out of sight of anybody, so i just go to a secluded spot and /warp to my toon). Zone in with one toon, use your map, zoom in so you can see, and scroll map south til you see the "Fire Coral". There will be many corals in the two wings to your south. You need to collect 10 of them, in each room there may be up to 3 mobs that will agro. You can not collect corals if you have any agro. Chose corals you can /warp, /open, and /loot without agroing anything, grab your 10 corals. Zone out and hand them in to the quest NPC for your Orum and Faction hit. Downfall is the lockout timer, but during this time, you can complete another mission that yields a lockout timer.

Yeah, been doing this all the night alternated with #6

This "Coral Diving" mission had been from start giving only 25 orux, but at least it's something, and well the faction =)

The pattern I have seen is overused missions will drop down automatically, little by little as people do it. It finally bottoms out at 50% normal value

Heh, yeah. On the other hand, tasks such as slaying the Empress yields about 100 orux due to people having not won it too often, if at all =p. Sadly that task is a bitch and you can't just run in there and finish within 5 minutes QQ. Well...in normal conditions that is.

Yes, supposedly it does from what I've heard.

From what I've seen it takes approximately 2K Orum to get to Ally. As the reward in Oruk drops so does the faction since it looks like the 2 are linked. 1 Oruk = 1 faction point.

They've changed this mission so you have to kill 20 mobs in the zone now...

Yeah MQ2pax seems to be broken with this release of Redquest,, I posted on page 5 of the thread for this release that /open does not work but got no reply and since there is no thread or link for it so I had no way of finding who releases MQ2Pax, so I just gave up doing Missions where I needed it..

I am just hoping that with the next release that it is fixed.

dont know what the problem is , but it seems to be the same for me on one of my computers... but when i zone in a different toon i had no problems at all... weird.

"/doability open" should work just make sure it is up on your ability window.
