Problem - KA Pulling Through Walls in Sathir's Tomb

Greetings All,

I'm noticing my SK is pulling mobs in the middle room (before Xalgoz room) through walls near the entrance in Sathir's Tomb using Terror of Kra'Du. Is there a way to avoid this from happening? It is causing a big train of mobs to come....
 
If I'm in that middle room, I set up on the northside against the wall up there - no chance of pulling mobs through the wall up there

Just so i understand correctly - is it targeting a mob then running to entrance to pull it, or is the mob at entrance getting hit with aoe?
 
My group is set in the very fist room (just outside the hall where the zone line is). When that first room is clear, my SK will target a mob in that middle room, cast his pulling spell on it, and that will cause that mob and everything near it to run back to my group near the zone in.
 
I would determine what the farthest distance is that you want to pull in the room you're in, and set your pull distance to that
 
Yea, I thought about that, but if I reduced my pull radius to not include the mobs in the other room, then my SK would only pull like 1/2 of the mobs in the room I want to pull from, which will result in a lot of down time.
 
Almost certainly a NavMesh issue. If not comfortable verifying and modifying your NavMesh, then

1. Pull with LOS instead (unload MQ2Nav and re-start Kiss), or
2. adjust your camp location - per the above, move to the north side of room (NW side of the diamond near the bench seat is good, set arc to '180 E' to exclude the trainer and students) or
3. adjust your pull circle and/or arc to exclude the offending mobs

What is this "pull arc" you speak of? Not seeing it in the KA11 manual.

PullArcWidth sets an angle directly in front of the puller, when they start KA, that is the allowed pulling angle. So if you set it to 180, the puller will only pull "in front" of themselves.
 
When I’ve had this issue I swapped to pulling with MQ2AdvPath

You know, I've had weird issues like this in different T2 RoS zones.. and if i am a bit too far from the mob, it tends to not run straight for you, but can path strangely, and can sometimes warp.. I get this **REALLY** bad in Gorowyn.. but also get it in Sathirs and in Howling..

Again, if I am say near my max distance i can tag a mob with terror (or bow pull), it will not necessarily run straight towards me, but end up picking up a ton of mobs as it warps through walls and comes from a totally different direction..

Solution for this is to shorten the length you pull, so you are closer to the mobs you want to tag/pull..
 
My SK just pulled one of the named through the wall . . . :confused:

is he targeting the mob/name thru the wall? or the name is adding due to whatever reason?

The named was outside of the pull radius but to mobs in that room in the very southern point of that room are just barely inside the pull radius. So it appears he pulled one of those two mobs through the wall and they ran around and grabbed the named.
 
No, I think it was that "fake" door that separates the entry room from the second room. Even though the door does not work, you can still cast through it to mobs on the other side....
