Re: Jigs21 MacroQuest2 Compile v11.0

Alright, believe I fixed the problems, just tested and seems to be fine. I am uploading now, expect to see the Zips in about 5 minutes.

The new zips are up, sorry for the long wait and issues, not sure what the hell is wrong with me today.

Same here and even tried an absolute minimum install of just mq2chatwnd and mq2map system still crashing to desktop

Interesting, where are you right clicking? The window of EQ or inside of EQ?

I tested the crashing problem on two different computers, and no crashing here. Everything seems to be in working order, if the problems persist, please post again.

every time i right click.... buy from a vendor.... loot a corpse.... con a mob it dont matter... right click is crashing me every time.

i used the /open command on a chest in TBS and it crashed me too did it 3 times to be sure thats what caused it

What plugins are you loading?

none... i only use the plugins that are active when i get it.

Well, I have tested everything you have mentioned that is causing you to crash, I am not crashing. I even took it as far as loading quite a few of the plugins, to see if any of them are causing a crash, nothing so far.

Something you can try is, deleting your compile folder, and re-downloading it, then test it.

**Edit -- Make sure you are not using an older version, you need to make sure you are using the version 11.1, because the previous version 11.0 was crashing.

seems to be a prob with one of your plugins when i use the loadplugin macro you have included in here I crash everytime its the MQ2targets plugin thats crashing me i dont really care if you fix this prob or not i dont use that plugin but others mite so figured id post my prob i was having

I always start with new folder and unpack to it for new compile. tried 11.1 and also deleted all dll's from working folder and still crash to desktop upon going into game with just mq2chatwnd and mq2map loaded on 2 different systens can't test on 3rd yet is being rebuilt when MB fried Sunday but will shortly and post again

Normally I have 41 plug in loaded and running at all times.

FYI the legit sets from MQ2 are running fine so is just the stuff from here but think it has to do with the mq2main since I only compile what I need from here and use the originals from MQ2 except MQ2chatwnd which I do on both sets since they are different as well. MQ2Chatwnd from legits 98,304 size MQ2chatwnd here 180,224

That is interesting, considering, I did not put the MQ2Targets DLL into the compile. Yes, it will not load, because it isn't inside of the compile, but it cannot be crashing you, if it isn't there. Also, if you added an older version of the dll to this compile, then that is whats crashing you.

I can assure you, it has nothing to do with MQ2Main. Also, the same for MQ2ChatWnd, you could be having problems with you're UI, so load up the default UI then test the compile out. I even fired up a third box today, and still no sign of crashing.

So is anyone else having problems? I would suspect not, because this seems to be only an issue with two of you.

Just loaded fresh download. Killed /looted no crashes here. Went to vendor bought something. no crash.

Try installing into a brand new folder. Open MQ then open EQ

If you would like to get MQ2Targets working with Jig's compile, use this .dll file. This was a pain in the @$$ to get to compile btw. =p

He probably doesn't delete the old dll's from his working directory and didn't notice that the main wasn't there LOL

Exactly :)

Just extract over earlier version,...

and thanks Jigs

I have had NO problems since installing the 11.1 compile. The 11.0 compile did cuase me to crash when I tried to loot.

In addition to the vanilia ones included in compile I use the following plugins:

rez
cast
twist
pop
xptracker

My thanks to everyone that works on making these compiles possible.

Jigs21,

Could you see about including a working mq2autosize plugin, and maintaining it in future releases of of your compile? This is one plugin I would like to try, and you're usually right on top of updates.

Thanks :)

Here you go Spoony. If Jigs adds it in the future, great! If not, feel free to grab the .DLL from my compile. Here it is right now though. You can just DL this and add it to your compile folder. The .ini will make itself if you don't Download this one, but if you want to make it easier, just drop the .ini in the folder with the .dll.

Yep.

hey guys,

havent played eq in a while, i was just wondering if there is still a warp plugin around, i didnt see it in jigs's compile. And piggyzone ? Is it because they can detect those now or any other reason?

thanks

Not currently, it is being worked on.

Jmo, Jigs

Thank you, both of you....you make EQ fun again, even if it is in a state of decline :)

Hmmm,

MQ2AutoSize seems a bit buggy atm. I get CTD if I unload this plugin, or if I try the /autosizeall command.
If I try /autosize by itself, in my mq2 window, it keeps telling me that AutoSize (range) has been disabled, AutoSize (allzone) has been disabled, ect ect. But, strangely above the latest message, it say's these commands have been "enabled"...

For example,

...........................................................................................................
AutoSize (range) enabled
AutoSize (allzone) disabled
AutoSize (range) disabled
...........................................................................................................

Basically, when I log in using the given .ini....nothing is shrunk. load plugin, nothing is shrunk.

Not the best at explaining this I guess, but I hope you get the idea.

I will be updating the zip today with some new plugins, will add my version of autosize to it.

I used the version posted here on RG. It doesn't seem to be updated in a long time. I'll look into the source and see what I can do. Sounds like Jigs has an updated version though.
