My sincere apologies about this being late, I have been traveling all day, and finally got to my destination point. I am not going to include my usual long description of changes & posts of the plugin commands, as I am limited to what I can do via my laptop. I have compiled and included all the normal plugins in this compile as usual.'

If you need plugin descriptions, please see my previous compile for them, and please let me know of any problems you have, I can try my best to fix them with the resources I have currently.

Also, this compile is updated with the current source from the MQ2 site.

I have been using so simple part of redguides for some time ie. the map and track. I used to use autoforage but awile back it stop working and I tried to do my own research and find out why. To be honest I am just lost. I can plugin autoforage but it tells me no ini found. any help would be creatly appreciated and again i am sorry if this is in wrong section. Not to push my thread count like a cheap turkish knockoff but I am still getting the hang of this. With this new compile, will there have to be a nother thread started to get the mq2crack information again? Or will the other thread info hold over for this compile?
Thanx

I think that it creates the .ini file the first time you use it and after that... VOILA! It is there.

SO... you're on the right track.

Just "/destroyitem xxxx" in each zone if you don't want to have that item.

BTW: Anybody know if there is a global "/destroyitem xxx" that can be used? Or even if you have to edit the .ini file, that's ok too. It's a PITA to have to put a /destroyitem Golanda Nut, and /destroyitem fishing grubs, etc., in every single zone...

As of about 2 hours ago Autoforage was working fine.
Just /keepitem blah blah or /destroyitem blah blah and you should be fine.

i just got a new comp with windows VISTA... this MQ2 compile is not working with vista. i can start up the program and get the icon at the bottom that tells me its active... but nothing happens in game.... any help on this? im sure i just gotta line out this new comp but im totally lost on what to do

it does work on my old comp that still runs XP

You can try the XP Compatability mode.

Right click the icon.
Pick Properties.
Compatability.

I forget the rest, but it is straightforward. Pick XP Compatibility, Service Pack 2

Also you can try the same thing with EQ itself.

AND WinEQ, which may or may not be necessary depending on your graphics board.

VISTA is wonderful.... not.

i usually run eq under the administrator acct by right clicking and 'run as administrator'

i then have to do the same with mq2 ('run as administrator')

Surprise patch? Anyways, will be out when MQ2 updates, locking thread.
