Hello! Been a great month and a half back minus the temporary break. I was wondering if anybody had any simple way to use an item, potion, when I get low HP. Trying to do some harder stuff and I've run into the need for some backup.

Any link or ini file that somebody could point me towards?

Thanks!

See! Thats the kind of thing I was looking for. I was trying to use it in heals. Good call putting it in dps. Then I can have it check HP to see if I should click it.

Searched the guides prior to posting but didnt see what I was looking for.

you can search through that, a potion is just an item, and you just use it like normal item, with the name and when to use it, i personally would use it in dps section with a condition if it was a healing pot
I'll just throw out the 1 issue you need to keep in mind with using it in the dps section. If you have a large dps section (lots of items), the more things that have a cast time, or do something that triggers the global cool down, it might take a significant amount of time to get through the items in the dps section to even get to the one to use the potion. I'm not sure if some kind of janky solution to that might be to put the use potion dps action in the dps section multiple times (assuming using dpson=2 and are doing things in a specific order) so that it could be checked more frequently to try and limit the amount of time where your health might not be checked to be able to use.

You can still "bucket" things with dpson=2
All =100 would get checked before all =99 stuff etc, irrespective of hos cause dpson=2 "health value" isn't really related to mob health

Yeah, I get that. I possible didn't explain myself well, as it would be an issue with dpson 2 or 1...I just think more of 2 since it does try to order things. In either case, the more items that in the dps list, and the more that have to go off and trigger global cool down particularly, the more time it might be before the use potion could be checked and go off, and the only way I can see avoiding that with a large dps section, would be to make the dps section larger by having the use potion item in the list multiple times to try and limit the amount of time that might be passing between when it's condition might get checked to be able to fire the action.

no, it runs through the list very fast doing the things it needs to do, and no one should have large dps list, 10-15 things tops, you dont need all the things to do all the things, also if oyu use conditions you can have a larger list that is fired based on conditions

Look, the only thing I was really trying to illustrate is this. Let's take this absurd example of a dps list that consists of 5 instant casting spells that trigger the gobal cool down with no conditions. In this case, to complete 1 cycle of the dps section (so from casting the 1st spell until you get back to be able to cast the 1st spell again assuming the spell gem wouldn't be on cool down for any spells involved) you would have the following:

Time = spell 1 + 1.5s gc + spell 2 + 1.5s gc + spell 3 + 1.5s gc + spell 4 + 1.5s gc + spell 5 + 1.5s gc = 7.5 seconds.

In this case, no matter where you added the 1 new dps item to use the potion, it would be 7.5 seconds until it could check to use it again. That seems like a long time to me operating under the assumption of trying to use it to stay alive in say an oh shit case. Unless I have an in accurate understanding of how the dps section would work, my only point I was trying to make is you would want to put thought into where you put the check and have some idea of the interval of time between it getting checked (and my only suggesting for shortening that interval of time would be to put the use potion item in the list multiple times). Otherwise, it would seem to me, it could provide to be of less use in helping to stay alive than you might hope.
