I am a sucker for the beginner struggle in EQ. Play a new character on a new server and struggle a bit. Once I am established and no longer having difficulties I end up being a bit disinterested.

When was the last time you actually killed a firebeetle?

A couple of days ago, in Shadow Valley! Our group killed a a smokefall beetle.
It made me think - It's been over 21 years and I am STILL killing beetles and getting exp.
It's embarrassing to think I am THAT bad at it.
