Problem - IsBoxer not loading up Toons after about 2month break

Super odd- Loaded up everything like normal, MQ2, EQBC and then Innerspace.
Went to innerspace and selected the team to load.
Headed off to do some crap while the 38 loaded and come back to 5 loaded.
Sometimes it will stall cause of whatever so i started it over and it only loaded 2 more.
I noticed that there were 7 active EQ instances in Task Manager and 3 set down in process and not doing anything.

As I restarted cursed and hoped it was a gremlin the amount of loaded toons when down to 0 over time.

Now when i try to start it they immediately load down in processes and stop there and never actually pop up EQ launcher.

I played about 2 months ago and all worked well and honestly it had been so much muscle memory I never thought much about it

So I redownloaded it and tried again and still doesn't load anyone.

I would assume since the computer has been mainly for working tasks such as adobe, chrome and email that it has to have been a windows update that are halting the processes from becoming active?

That is so far above my pay grade though I am not sure what to start with.

I have cleaned up as many extra programs as possible and killed most startup apps

Other than that i am not sure what could have caused the issue.

Thoughts from the Guru's out there?

Other thoughts is to migrate to MQNext and just run with the 38 open windows but man the layout on innerspace for all of them is so nice!

should definately migrate to mq, not mq2, not mqnext, just the most recent version of mq, for whatver thing your are playing on, emu, live or test( test mq is currently down for repatching)

Sounds like an elevated permission issue

You can determine this by right clicking the MQ icon and turning on debug so you can see if it says failed injection due to permission

Would turning on Debug help if it was a Innerspace issue?

MQ and EQBC will load characters fine just with 38 full size windows haha

If it is not injecting at all - yep. Some folks launch isboxer as admin and mq is going to dislike that.

If it is just a matter of speed - you can adjust the per toon delay in your autologin settings, some folks launching a lot of toons need to increase that delay.

I'm unsure if you're having none mq injections when launching with isb

Just to be clear I am/was using an old version of MQ2 for EMU servers so it does not appear to have a debug feature.

I am thinking innerspace was loading as admin so that might be an issue, but strange it just popped up.

in the process of downloading the new MQ for EMU

Ah.

Mq2 isn't supported at all.
We don't distribute it, or build it, or offer support for it.

Mq has literal thousands of updates and improvements for it.

But yah, guessing a permissions issue on that outdated junk of chunk.

The future is now, bro. You're gonna fucking love it.

Last question before the next question haha- With MQ2 should i just redo my macros and such and not try to migrate them into MQ next?

Everything possible was tried to make backwards compatible.

Unfortunately mq2 had a lot of broken stuff so there was a lot of broken steps and there were a lot of things that people programmed around incorrect stuff.

I don't think that there's any pressing reason why you shouldn't try the stuff you're already happy with however it might be a good opportunity to check out some of the other stuff available these days
