Is there a way to stop your character from sliding all over the place on the ice floor in ToFS?

Lev doesn't work.

Walk helps some, but still slide a lot.

Was wondering if there was any other way/trick to stop sliding? Jumping seemed to slow it down maybe, a tiny bit, but I'm not even sure of that.

tiny steps help
dewey was working on an mq2ice which would help navigate over ice by making fast microcorrections to your movement - but i think in general its just a "be on the ice as little as possible" situation

Are you trying to pull on the first floor or just move up to an upper level?
I usually ivu and shoot for the middle of the wall on either side of the pit and sort of bounce of it and keep going towards the steps to just move across first floor.

If you are trying to pull the first floor for named or whatever. Use a pet class to pull with the lowest level pet. Can target from map and then just send pet in pet dies and mobs come for you. I found this to be the easiest way to get the named/key on the first floor.
