Question - Is there a way to set up an ini to just handle casting/buffs/burns/etc but still be in control of movement?

I was thinking of trying to automate my casting routines so I don’t miss recasting a dot or slow to the punch on alliance when raiding. That way I could focus on mechanics and positioning.

Thinking that I could maybe make camp and assist radius huge. Turn off return to camp, etc. But I wasn’t sure how moving would affect interrupts in casting. Like would I constantly be interrupting if I was moving at all?

Kissassist on manual is the best bet.

Get a INI file from the library section and modify it to do as you want. It is easy and fun , you can mess around with a whole bunch of combinations.

I remember back in the day, there was a fellow player who had buff bots constantly casting in the Guild Hall. Guildmates would teleport to GH just to get buffs and come back right back into the action.

The player use to have a Shaman , beastlord, enchanter and Cleric , 24/7 always around , I think he was casting only the highest level buffs but i'm sure he set it up to cast lower level buffs as well

That was the good old days

Yep. I’ve posted some of my inis to the library. I’m pretty good with kiss. Just never used manual. Other than peton, dpson, and Buffon, I really don’t see any other commands I can use. Trying to figure it out. But my toon is just standing there in front of. The dummy.

isnt that the point of manual? that you need to attack manually?

you can't assist yourself in manual mode. You need an actual MA character picking targets for you.

Yeah I started manual with our raid MA. The burn section kicked in but not the DPS portion. Hmmmmm….. I wonder if the target hit 99%… I have a couple of debuff pop at 100% but the rest starts at 99. I should check to see if those hit.

Manual defaults to turning dpson to 0 doesn't it? You'd want to turn dps back on. Really though you'd just turn off chase and camp here to have Kissassist keep dpson but still assist a main tank.

/mac kissassist assist TankName
/camphere off
/chaseon off

Yeah it turned buffs, pet, and DPS to On. Once manual starts.

I’ll try that too!
