I looked at the settings page to see if I could tell if this should be 1 or 0 or what it means, but didnt find the answer
does anyone know what this setting do and what its supposed to be set to?

This currently only applies to the tank. If you turn this on, on any assisting characters, it is turned off at startup. There are plans to change this so you can switchtargets on your assisting toons.

I use KA12 for all toons. If I change this to ”on” will it help me or is there a better solution?

When I get adds sometimes my bard struggles to mez them. Then my cleric heals the bard which pulls aggro and makes the squishy healer go splat. I want to be able to switch my SK to whatever mob is beating the healer to take aggro. I’d rather have 2 mobs beating on the SK than anything on the cleric. Thanks in advance.

the way i understood this mode ( and the way it seems to work for me) is when the MA switches targets ( always set your tank MA MT) my toons will swap to what im attacking. In like AVATAR of war ( group) for getting the ahcive all shall fall ( or something, were rallos has to kill the giants. with the aoe axe) soooo just turn it on

As an SK you have plenty of tools available for this situation. You should not need to switch targets to draw aggro.

You didn't say what level you are, but you can look up a KA .ini file for your level. You will want to look at the Aggro and AoE sections for ideas on how to set things up. You will want to be looking at our PBoE (contempt, revulsion), particularly the spells that don't cause damage and break mez.

Personally, I also keep the AoE hatred AA's on hotkeys so I can fire them on demand, as I find that sometimes KA or CWTN isn't as fast as I would like when I get too many incoming. So if 5 mobs suddenly pop on XTAR I immediately hit one or both.

Thanks for the info. My SK is 79 and I am ftp. Not sure I have the AAs you are talking about. The ini files for my level aren’t too involved because most folks PL past them anyway. I will look into that section and see if there is something I can tweak. Would it require a condition for the AE taunt to cast in those situations? Thanks again

OK. Yeah, you don't get the first AA (Explosion of Hatred) until lvl 81. At level 79 you PB AoE aggro spells are Vilify (74) and Revile (79).

I use CWTN currently, and haven't played with .INI's for a while, but you can put these spells in several locations
- use the AoE section to trigger these spells when the mob count exceeds a threshold
- use the DPS section to trigger these spells when a condition is met (e.g. more than 3 mobs)
- use the Aggro section to trigger these spells when your aggro is less than a threshold, and a condition (like mob count) is > X

If you are driving with the SK you can also just trigger them manually as conditions demand.
