Problem - I cannot get my Mage macro to assist

I have created an ini file for my mage based on those posted in the Compiled INI subfolder of this forum, however I just cannot get the mage to auto assist.
Can anyone spot if I am doing something in-correct in the ini file?
My Shaman seems to be fine, and TBH I cannot see the difference that would make one assist and not the other.
I am using the new installer.

I basically play the puller and want the mag and shaman to assist, the puller is set as puller in group, it makes no difference if I use the PetTank option or the Assist, the mage usually casts a buff, mems a spell and that is it.

Is the mage further away from the group than the shaman? Keep them on top of each other and make sure the puller gets within that 50 radius. If you're outside of it he won't assist.

This is unrelated but you'll probably want to change PetOn=0 and PetToys=0 to 1 so that you'll send in your pet to attack and give it toys.

Thanks guys, will give it a go, the mage is probably closer to the puller than the shaman, so think they are in range, I did not realise that the PetOn=0 stopped it auto attacking, I will readjust that and remove the toys as I generally give it better weapons than the summoned ones.

Should I up the camp radius to 100 or so?

No, I'd keep it where it's at. All of mine are at 30 just make sure to start kissassist on your puller with him close to the group.

Check your buffs one by one, I think (for one) the modulation shard AA changed, the statement that it

usually casts a buff, mems a spell and that is it

leads me to think it's hanging up in the buff routine somewhere.

Thanks Darkie, I have removed most of the self buff lines and am also using the "PetTank" assist, seems better now, the pets actually engage and the mage is casting some DD spells, I think I need to have another play around with the "DPSInterval" as I think that they could cast a bit more often than they are currently. I will have another go tomorrow and post up my findings.

Let us know how you go steve, and if you dont mind sharing your .ini? I have used kiss assist for a few toons perfectly, and only had issues with the mage (sometimes not assisting, sometimes not sending pet in!)
