Question - How to turn looting off completely?

How can you turn off looting so your boxes are needing on things without your knowledge? I have turned off autoloot and have loot=0 in kiss.ini, but still this happens. Happened on a raid when leader kicked it to roll and one of my toons I wasn't watching needed on something he couldn't use.

Are you sure you don't have advt loot configured to need the item and nothing to do with kiss or MQ2?

That one toon needs on everything thing that comes up. I can't find where to turn that off.

unload mq2... /unload on that account and see if it still does it.

Everquest folder/userdata/ inside this is LF_Nvr, LF_AN, LF_AG, LF_Rnd, all of these related to your filters

I recommend not having your character online when you delete these. I had some issues.

Yes, they don't seem to play well with mq2autoloot anyway. I just use mq2autoloot with
/autoloot turn on
/autoloot turn off

I also leverage the class specific functionality:
Amorphous Cohort's Boots=Gear|Classes|SHD|BER|BST|MNK|NumberToLoot|1|

Are you using MQ2Autoloot as well? That's what it seems like to me and is different than the loot option in KA (I think)

I've had something similar where I forgot to turn it off before raids and kept needing on everything

I updated mq2autoloot to not function when your in a raid. It is the present compile, but only if you updated in the last week.

Yes, I'm using autoloot but I believe I had turned it off prior to raid. I have not updated in the last week so I will make sure to do that tonight. I also went through and deleted all the filters. I had never messed with the setting in eq advloot window, but I turned off filters and might try using the setting to "not use" advloot.
